I visited Villa Nuala with my girlfriends as part of my 40th celebrations. It was such a beautiful villa and the host was so accommodating prior to arrival and during our visit. The villa was incredibly clean and fully equipped. We will definitely be returning again soon
We just had to start with how easy it was to deal with Nuala, the owner. Responsive and regular communication throughout including some good restaurant tips took away hassle for this family holiday. The villa is as described an easy walk probably for us 15 minute to the marina although there is a bit of an uphill climb n the way back. Great variety of supermarkets are nearby although UBER is particularly active in the area so handy if you have a big shop. It is set on at the time we were there a very quiet street with other similar villas both occupied and for rent but it was an area we did not have any safety concerns over. The villa itself is huge with large living areas everywhere. The kitchen is large and well stocked with every accessory including an oven, microwave, washing machine and huge American style fridge freezer. The living area is bright and the electronic shutters are fantastic especially the centrally controlled function. We didn't use the tv so couldn't tell you what that was like but wifi was good and easily served 6 guests. AC is available but the villa is quite cool given that it was September and we only had to use occasionally overnight. The bedrooms are all large and fitted out as you would expect in a rental villa of this age. Have to say the bed downstairs that we had was extremely comfortable. Bathrooms were large although shower in the bottom en-suite was a too low for me so that raised some fun getting into position to wash my hair. Externally , the rear of the villa looks onto the golf course. We didn't have any issue with wayward golf balls but did find 2 in the garden. It has a lovely comfortable seating area which was perfect for breakfast, two sets of outdoor tables and chairs so you can pick the best spot for lunch and we would recommend using the charcoal BBQ with local produce and wine. It was fantastic. The pool is large but does fall away quite sharply so be careful if small kids and it was pretty cold but when you got over that initial shock it was very pleasant to cool down in. In all a lovely villa in a great setting and with the bonus of a lovely owner which made for a fantastic family holiday to celebrate our retirement
Just back from a stay at Villa Nuala, our first time there. From the initial booking, the communication with Nuala was excellent - she also provided lots of information on the local area. The Villa is in a great location, clean and well equipped with a wonderful outside area, pool and gardens - overlooking a golf course. 15 minute walk to the Marina - we always got an Uber back (about £4.50). We didn’t have the pool heated and it was a lovely cooling temperature. We would love to go back and stay longer next time.
Villa Nuala is stunning. Right on the golf course, in a nice area only a short 2 minute taxi down to the marina. The outdoor pool and bbq area are brilliant. We would definitely stay again.
We'd stayed here before about 10 years ago but it was just as good as we remembered ! We were a party of 6 adults and there was everything required for our stay in a fantastic location !
My husband and I, along with my sister-in-law and her partner stayed in this beautiful villa from 27th August to 3rd September 2024. From the outset, I was kept very well informed of the booking process and was given lots of information about the villa and the area, including some recommendations for restaurants. As we were moving from another villa to this one, we knew we would be arriving early, but Nuala arranged for us to leave our luggage inside the villa until it was ready for us to check in which was earlier than stated. It was great then to be able to look round the area without having luggage with us. The villa was very spacious and clean and was well equipped for a great stay. We did eat out every night, but only because we hadn't during our first week. The beds were extremely comfortable with nice pillows. The bedrooms could have done with having a chair in them to use at the dressing table, but this didn't deter from the villa. The outside area was lovely, with a great pool that was actually deep enough to have a proper swim. We spent a lot of time in there as it was quite hot during the day. I would suggest upgrading the sun loungers though. It was a very pleasant 15 mins walk into town, where there were lots of lovely restaurants around the marina and other streets set back. On Nuala's recommendation, we tried the Fisherman's Shack, Il Lamparo and Don Alfonso and all were excellent. Fisherman's Shack was my personal favourite as I do enjoy fish. We got Ubers which were very cheap and a cab from the taxi rank in town was also cheap. Sonya, the agent was very friendly and arranged for us to check out an hour later than normal, so were weren't hanging around too long as we had an evening flight. I would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous villa and would definitely stay here again if visiting Vilamoura.
