The listing and descriptions including the reviews are very accurate. It is a very well maintained and clean property. We wanted for nothing, with attention to detail right down to the adapter plugs. Interaction with the owner was a pleasure and we were sent ample information prior to arrival, covering all possible questions and contacts. 5 star customer service. Location and site security made us feel very much at ease, a lovely location for a quiet stay with all the attractions close to hand within walking distance. We have stayed in this apartment on several occasions, no idea why it hasn't occurred to us to review it before. The apartment is beautifully equipped, modern bathroom, extremely clean and full of those extras which make it a true 'home from home' whilst you relax. We would agree that a car makes shopping etc easier but you can holiday here if you are fit enough and willing to walk around VDL. The Praca is about 20 minutes walk, maybe 25 minutes on the up hill walk back but is a good way of using a few of the calories gained whilst dining out, similarly you can walk to beach bars in about 30 minutes in the other direction, even the renowned Alambique is only a 20 minute stroll away, this time on the flat, you can always walk one way and taxi back or within VDL purchase a ticket to allow you to use the circuit bus. We do hire a car but we do walk a lot whilst staying here. There is terrace out the back well-equiped with outside furniture, well quiet and peaceful lying out here on your lounger! To sum up we can thoroughly recommend this apartment.
We had a lovely stay at Vale de Lobo - the apartment was comfortable and well equipped and set in quiet surroundings. In our opinion, hiring a car is essential if you want to access supermarkets etc. The owner, very helpfully, gave us lots of information prior to our arrival and there were lots of restaurant recommendations in the apartment. The beach is wonderful, although a walk away, but with a car, several access points can be reached without having to pay for parking. A great apartment to have a lovely relaxing stay. Thank you.
