Excellent Host and Niki was on hand during our booking process and gave us all the information we needed, Villa well presented and very clean, very good to deal directly with the owner of the property we know the area well having visited many times over the last 20 years. We had some concerns over booking due to the French air strikes and local ground staff striking Niki was very understanding and was flexible with her terms should the worse happen, which made us feel much more comfortable with proceeding. Thankfully all went to plan and we would return again. Quiet location yet close to amenities shops and the excellent bars and restaurants just an 5euro Uber away.

Thank you for your for you positive review. i hope you will return soon.
Larger than expected and very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and responsive.
We had a lovely peaceful stay at Nicki’s beautiful villa. The listing was very accurate. My husband & I stayed with my 19 year old son , my older daughter & her partner. The layout, with the separate outside seating areas, was one of the attractions, but we ended up all sitting together most of the time on the glorious roof terrace. There is sun & shade in different places all day so everyone should be happy. The property was clean & cleaned once during our stay & the villa was well equipped. The supply of beach towels was great as some of us only had hand luggage. Nicki provides a great welcome pack. She also provided us with names of restaurants with different price ranges & running/ walking routes round Vale Do Lobo. On one of the these routes , out the back of the villa, we found out best beach . It is to the west of Vale Do Lobo down a track, but had sun loungers & sun shades to hire. We went for the afternoons & paid €5 for 3 of us. It was €39 for the same at the Vale Do Lobo beach, which was more crowded. There is a lovely restaurant there that also sells ice cream & drinks. That is where the decent toilet facilities were too. The local shop in Vale Do Lobo is excellent. We didn’t shop anywhere else. Good prices & friendly staff, who mostly speak English or they find a colleague who does. The bakery is to die for. Sometimes it is quicker to buy the bakery produce in the main shop rather than queue at the coffee & cake counter ( get a numbered ticket at the coffee counter ) as the lady spends a lot of time making coffee ( the bakery produce comes from the same place) Overall a great place to stay. I would recommend anyone to do the same .
Lovely place, cozy and warming! We love it, and Nicki is always available for anything
A beautiful spacious villa with stylish interiors. It is equipped with all amenities to make your holiday very comfortable. It was very clean and well maintained internally and externally. The villa location is in a quiet cul de sac but near to great restaurants and bars at the Praca. The highlight has to be its rooftop terrace which is great for enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun going down! The owners made the booking very easy and were very informative of Vale do Lobo and what it had to offer. I would highly recommend this property.
My wife and I stayed at Nicki's lovely house 19th to 26th May 2018, and found the house was perfect for us. The downstairs has a spacious living room with dining area that opens out onto a terrace with barbeque and plunge pool, well equipped kitchen (including Nespresso machine with 10 complimentary pods when we visited, as well as washing machine and dishwasher etc) and a downstairs bedroom and separate shower room/cloakroom. Upstairs are two ensuite (1 shower, 1 bath with shower) bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a terrace which caught the afternoon sun. There are stairs from this terrace up to a good-sized roof terrace equipped with sun loungers and a dining table. Key collection was simple, with the keys being held exactly where Nicki said they would be in her detailed instructions. The house was cleaned 3 times while we were there by the management company, with their staff being unobtrusive. The living room has a television with British satellite channels available, and we got into a nice routine of having a glass of red wine (Joao Clara Negro Mole – excellent Algarve red wine available at the Apolonia in Amancil) on the roof terrace as the sun went down, before relaxing in front of the TV to watch a film. One of the main things that we enjoy about staying at a villa rather than a hotel is having a wider choice of places to eat, and the area around Vale Do Lobo provides an abundance of options, with many good recommendations provided by Nicki in the information she sent us before we travelled. We ate well at 2 Passos (great fish - good tippers get the bells rung at the bar as they leave!), Marufos 1 (specialises in chicken cooked simply over charcoal, as well as seafood), and A Quinta amongst others. Not only did Nicki provide us with information on places to eat, but she also helped us by recommending a car hire company, as well as running routes around the local area and down to the beach. Nothing was too much trouble for her - she was quick to reply to all messages (whether by text or email) and we had a really good talk before making our booking (only cut short as I had a dinner reservation to get to!) where she came across as a very genuine person who we could be comfortable would do their utmost to ensure we had a great time in their villa. We could not have asked for anymore from somebody renting out their villa to us - we really enjoyed our holiday and we cannot recommend her highly enough.
