I stayed here with my Mum and Sister and we had a really lovely time. We’ve been to Vale Do Lobo a few times now and usually book the Vale Do Lobo villas/apartments. This time we wanted something more homely and we’re so glad we chose Villa Tacca and booked through Algarve Villa Selection. The villa is located in a lovely quiet area of Vale Do Lobo. It’s really spacious and homely and we felt more than comfortable in it. It has all the utensils, glasses, plates etc. that you need. There is a great BBQ outside too which we used most evenings. There are loads of seating options indoor/outdoor, a great utility room with washer/dryer, big comfy sofa and TV with more than enough choices (UK TV channels), large beds, than enough wardrobe space, towels and separate pool towels. There was also a cleaning service 3 times during our stay – the cleaners were so lovely too! The pool area is great, spacious, has loads of sun loungers and chairs and the pool is a great size! The villa is only a 10 minute walk to the local Pingo Doce shop, which is ideal. It’s also less than 10 mins in an Uber to the larger local supermarkets. We also got a local supermarket to do a food delivery for the day we arrived. You can also walk to Vale Do Lobo beach in around 25 mins or less. The WiFi could have been a bit better upstairs as it didn’t really work all the time (fine if you have roaming with your service provider and don’t need WiFi). Overall the villa was so lovely but it could maybe do with a little bit of love (a couple of things were slightly dated (curtains, cushions, sun loungers etc.) but really nothing major at all and certainly wouldn’t stop me staying again! Dawn at Algarve Villa Selection was just brilliant and really made booking the villa and the whole experience so easy and made us really comfortable that we were taken well care of. The information packs provided and on hand service is beyond what I expected from a booking provider! I would definitely look to book with them again.

Villa Tacca was simply amazing. It was everything we wanted and completely felt like a home from home. The property is kitted out with everything you could possibly need - BBQ tools, air con, glassware, outdoor dining plates/jugs, iron, hairdryers, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and TVs fitted with Sky Sports which was a bonus for my husband! The villa is perfectly located in VDL and in walking distance to most things including the supermarket. I found it handy that you can jump in an uber from the villa and also use uber eats for take aways which was great. In addition to Dawn from Algarve Villa Selection, the Portuguese property manager was also on hand to answer any questions whilst we were there which was super helpful. I was initially worried about how secure the villa would be but I couldn't have felt any safer thanks to the house alarm and the security guards that I noticed patrolled the area. We were accommodated an early check in which made our arrival run super smoothly and then on our final day we secured our luggage at the local tennis academy and was able to use their shower facilities for free before leaving to go home. We will 100% be returning next year.
