Welcome to our beautiful holiday home — a bright and spacious retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. From the main entrance, a short set of steps leads to the first floor, complete with a stylish wrought-iron handrail and a built-in wooden stair gate at the top for added safety.
The living area is wonderfully light and airy, enjoying a sunny south-westerly aspect and four large windows that fill the space with natural light. A traditional brick archway links the cosy lounge — furnished with two generous sofas (one converting into a sofa bed) — to the open-plan kitchen and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for a stress-free stay, including a dishwasher, double sink, electric fan oven, five-ring gas hob, microwave, and large fridge-freezer.
There are two spacious double bedrooms: a master suite with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, and a second bedroom with twin beds and a full-size cot bed — ideal for families. A separate family bathroom features both a bathtub and a walk-in shower.
For your comfort and peace of mind, all windows are fitted with Juliet bars, and traditional chestnut shutters let you control the light and temperature throughout the day. The lounge and bedrooms also feature built-in mosquito nets, and both bedrooms are equipped with blackout blinds to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
Home Cooked Meals
We offer an in house menu with a wide range of freshly prepared home cooked dishes ranging from Italian family favourites, such as Lasagne and Cannelloni, right through to more sophisticated dishes, all ready to pop in your oven and enjoy. For the children we offer a full variety of meals that are freshly made, pre-cooked and can be heated quickly in the microwave.

Wonderful stay
By Caroline on 15-Jul-2025This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. The quality of the furniture and cleanliness was exceptional. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. The pool was also lovely. Lots interesting places within a 30 minute drive. Paul and his family very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful house in nature
By Laurence on 30-May-2024Our stay in Santa Chiara was in every way perfect: a spacious apartment in a beautiful house in nature, a large terrace to enjoy the view, a relaxing environment and a swimming pool large enough to be able to swim. The house while being secluded is easy to access and we reach tourist sites like Montone, Perugia and Assisi quite quickly. Paul was extremely responsive and attentive to our well being. We'll be happy to go back!
Ideal location

The location is ideal for discovering the towns and villages of Umbria. Paul is a very responsive and friendly host while remaining discreet. We had a great time in Santa Chiara!
Home away from home
By Sneha on 21-Aug-2024Paul & Anita's beautiful Santa Chiara was our home away from home for just over a week at the end of August. The place is as peaceful and well presented as the photos suggest and Paul was an incredibly proactive and helpful host, always responsive and offering fantastic recommendations on what to see and where to eat. This was especially helpful to us as we were travelling with 2 young children, 5 & 3, with our youngest having complex food allergies. We managed to visit some lovely towns for short day trips with experiences for the kids and otherwise took full advantage of the abundant toys, games and play area by the pool - the children had a blast! Thank you so much Paul and Anita - we cannot recommend your lovely home enough. :)
Great stay
By Mikela on 01-Sep-2024Very authentic place to stay. We loved the quiet of the house and it’s surroundings. By car you can visit all the hotspots in 20-30 minutes. Paul was a great host with very good tips and nice communication. House has everything you would need. Definitely when you have small kids, there are toys (books, duplo, puzzles) indoors and a playhouse, shop and kitchen by the pool. Great stay!!
