We stayed here with our 3 children for 9 days. The complex itself is very nice with pretty gardens, a large pool and spectacular views of the sea. There are a number of beach restaurants in walking distance (uphill on the way back but worth it for the views!) and Torrox itself is either a 5 minute drive away or 20 minute walk. There are also nice walks from the apartment up into the hills. Torrox has a long promenade with lots of cafes, restaurants and a few supermarkets. The location is also a short drive from Nerja - nice to be nearby if you want somewhere busier and more restaurant choices but also nice to be away from the hustle and bustle in a quieter setting and be able to listen to the sound of the sea at night. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils, outdoor furniture for the patio and a BBQ. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom could actually sleep 4 with two sharing the double size bottom bunk. As well as plenty to do in the area, it makes a good base for day trips to Malaga and Granada.
We are a party of four ladies and this August was our fifteenth time to holiday in this apartment. The apartment is always spotlessly clean when we arrive and is fully equipped with everything we need. The balcony is a great size with fantastic views of the large pool, beautiful gardens and sea. There is a TV with English stations and free WiFi. The beach is only a few minutes walk away (although a bit hilly). There are lovely beach bars all along the beach and we usually walk into Torrox some evenings. Nerja is only a ten minutes drive/taxi ride away. There are lots of places to visit such as Frigliani, Compete and Torrox Pueblo. Chris and Ann are only a phone call away if even a light bulb needs replacing. Needless to say we will be back next year for the sixteenth time!!
We stayed in the property as a family of 4 (kids 8 &12), in Aug 2024 and had a fabulous time. The property is well maintained, clean, and accurately described in the brief. It has amazing views from the very large terrace, stretching out over the med. The pool was fab, my 2 boys loved it, it's huge and didn't ever get too busy in the height of summer. The apartment is in a great location, easy to walk to the beach (although very hilly but my kids were fine) and the beach bars at penoncillo were fabulous. We had a great stay and would happily go back.
We had an absolutely amazing holiday here in July. We stayed for 2 weeks and everything was perfect. The apartment is so spacious and catered for everything we needed. The balcony area was my favourite, so big with tables and chairs, sun loungers and barbeque and the view from there is beautiful. You have a perfect view of the pool and garden too which is brilliant when you have children. The pool area is big and spacious and always feels relaxed. and so private. We were so close to the beach with lovely restaurants nearby. We were very close to the main promenade in torrox and a great spot for going into nearby nerja too. A fabulous apartment in a beautiful area.
The view from the property is amazing, overall we loved the peace and quiet in and around the apartment! The pool is big and not busy so our children had loads of space. The apartment itself has everything you need for a holiday and overall is good value for money. We went to the beach a few times which is a short walk away or drive if you don't like walking up hills! Lots of restaurants within walking distance and even more a short drive/taxi away if you are looking for a busier atmosphere/night out in Torrox Costa or Nerja. We rented a car which gave us more flexibility in visiting surrounding towns, the waterpark, Granada and the Alhambra.
Apartment has great views of the sea and the lovely gardens in the resort. Close to Torrox Costa and a short drive to Nerja.
