Stylishly furnished and decorated, the spacious apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main balcony overlooks the swimming pool and there is a large table for alfresco dining. There is unlimited WIFI and streamed UKTV. There is a large lounge area with TV, DVD, Bluetooth speaker and CD/i-dock/radio and a dining area to seat 6 people. This area is fully air conditioned with a heating option for cooler months. The sideboard has extra crockery, serving dishes and cutlery and you may even find some leftover drinks!! There is a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board and ample glasses, crockery and cutlery. We have cool bags and ice packs for taking your own picnic to the beach.
The apartment has 3 bedrooms - the master has a king size bed and an ensuite shower room and the main bathroom has a full size bath with overbath shower, WC and bidet. The room has patio doors out to a small balcony with chairs and table which is perfect for your morning coffee. The second bedroom has a king size bed, large wardrobe and dressing table. The third bedroom has twin beds and a chest of drawers/dressing table. There is wardrobe space just outside the bedroom in the lobby. All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans and hairdryers are provided.. We also provide beach towels, beach mats and beach bags to save on your packing!
On the 1st floor there is a superb, fully air conditioned games area with pool table and further TV and DVD player. There is also a wide range of board games and card games to enjoy. There is also a small balcony. The property has an underground garage with space for 2 cars. In the garage you will find sun loungers (which need to be stored away each evening and not left round the pool area) and adult bicycles.
The position of the apartment makes it ideal for family holidays; the complex is secure and there is a childrens play area. The town centre is on your doorstep - no need to take a car to enjoy all the atmosphere, street entertainment, restaurants, bars and shops. The ferry to the island is available all year round from Quatro Aguas and during busy times from Tavira harbour just a 2 minute walk away. This is usually from Easter through to the end of September but this is often extended if the weather is good. The fare is around €2.50 return. The wonderful beaches of the Eastern Algarve are available to explore from this central location. Take the ferry to the Ilha Tavira for access to 25km of golden sand; catch the little train or walk across to the island at Barril from Santa Luzia. A short drive down the coast will get you direct access to the beaches at Manta Rota, Monte Gordo, Casto Marim and Praia Verde. Bars, restaurants and full facilities are available at all these locations.
Travel:
Take advantage of the many cheap flights to Faro airport with the popular budget airlines, travel time to the apartment is around 35 minutes by car. You can either take the A22 toll road or be more leisurely and take the N125 - either way it is less than 40 minutes. There is also a bus and train service to Tavira from Faro and many local taxi firms offer a transfer service from the airport for around 40 Euros each way.

Tavira is a beautiful, historic town with many places of interest. For holiday makers the vast stretches of sandy beaches along with the fantastic traditional Portugeuse restaurants are the main draws. Tavira is a friendly fishing town; the market by the road bridge offers a wide variety of fresh fish and produce; there are several supermarkets and the large shopping centre has just about everything you could wish to buy. The town enjoys a vibrant nightlife, there are many festivals throughout the year and always something going on in the ampitheatre in the main square next to the Roman bridge, you will quite often see a street artist just set up and start performing around here. The restaurants and bars are too many to mention everyone has their favourite - the best way is to get out and explore them. Apart from the fantastic beaches, take a drive to Pago Inferno, a natural waterfall and lagoon, great for a swim. Olhao is a vibrant town between Tavira and Faro, it has many shops cafes and restaurants and an excellent football team. For the more adventurous a try a trip to Seville, a stunning city with streets lined with it's famous orange trees and fantastic Tapas bars.
