After great communication with Tim I felt we were in for a lovely time in his beautiful farmhouse and wasn't disappointed. In the perfect location to expore all the island has to offer. The pool area was perfect and very private and the inside matches up to it. Help on hand (if needed) with the property manager living next door. Would love to return. That's says it all. Thank you
So, it’s our last day at Number 4. I must say, Susan and I feel quite sad. We are really going to miss this place. It is wonderful. There’s nothing worse than having to leave a place you love so much. But, we’ve had a wonderful holiday. As you mentioned when we first spoke to you, the farmhouse is better than the images and the description. The pool area is very private…exactly as we hoped for. Number 4 is exactly what we needed after a busy and stressful year. The entertainment system is also amazing! I don’t think there was a film that we fancied watching that wasn’t available. We hope very much to come back and stay sometime next year.
My family of six (2 adults, 4 children) and husband’s parents enjoyed a fabulous 12 nights stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The house truly is a home-from-home, you could want for nothing more. Perfectly located in the centre of the island, it allowed us to fully explore and appreciate Lanzarote. We would absolutely recommend this stunning property and have already booked to return later this year.
We have been visiting Lanzarote since 2002, always staying in some sort of self-catering accommodation, hire some wheels and enjoy exploring the island, as we have done in other European countries over the last 30 years. This formula has suited us well, as it enables us to be independent and discover places for ourselves, and almost always places to return to. When we choose where to stay, we adhere to a strict criterion, it must be well appointed, private with a pool and away from the crowded places. Lomo de San Andres (the Farmhouse) certainly meets our criteria and goes far beyond. Everything about the Farmhouse was just right, its location central to the island is ideal as most places can be reached well within an hour could not be better, and the sense of discovery as you first approach it was certainly exciting (look out for the Palm Tree!). Unlike other places we have stayed in Lanzarote, Lomo de San Andres has retained its charm and a strong element of originality and tradition. The accommodation is spacious, kitchen is for foodies, the pool area private, sheltered, and relaxing. Club Iguana was somewhat of a surprise and adds great character which reflects the attention to detail and decor which is brilliant throughout (no, we are not estate agents; we were very appreciative guests). Tim and Dianne’s Farmhouse brochure is so good, it contains all we needed to know and more. Over the last 20 years Lanzarote has become a foodie’s paradise and we followed many of Tim and Dianne’s eatery recommendations, all of which were impeccable. We especially liked the tapas at Ermita in Tias and the informal atmosphere in Café Tere in Playa Honda. Of course, we discovered some places of our own, notably Casa Morelino just up the road near Tiagua which serves delightful Italian food, and Restaurante Bogavante in El Golfo, which we have visited many times in the past in where you can eat octopus just 20 metres from the breaking surf. We are sure that there are many more restaurants to discover. We also discovered new places to visit despite having visited the island for many years. This time it was La Ermita de Las Nievas Church situated high above Farmara beach with stunning views. On our way back to the Farmhouse we stopped for a light lunch at Mirador de Los Valles; it was so good we made a rare recommendation entry in Google. Over the years we have stayed in more than twelve properties on Lanzarote and Lomo de San Andres stands out by far as the best. In our experience it cannot be beaten.
Just back from a great stay in Tim and Dianne’s delightful farmhouse/villa. Set in the heart of the tranquil Lanzarote countryside, it proved an ideal central location from which to explore the island (hire car necessary). The farmhouse is spacious, airy, immaculately clean and tastefully furnished to a standard we have not previously come across in our many years of self-catering holidays. It simply does not feel like a rental property, but rather the much-loved home of very house-proud owners who have spared no effort in creating an exquisite property. The pool is warm and offers complete privacy, the beds comfortable, wifi and tv are great, the kitchen has everything you could need… I could go on! We enjoyed it all so much that some days we just stayed ‘at home’. Recommended wholeheartedly!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, the owners had thought of everything, the pool was warm and protected from the breeze, there was loads of space, the games room was fully kitted out. Lots of information in the booklet, and we ate out at a couple of the recommended restaurants and had amazing food. We would definitely recommend and will be back!
