We had a fantastic time staying at Casa Glenister for 3 weeks. The spacious villa was a luxurious home from home, with all needs catered for. Set in a lovely spot, with fab views and gardens – and a delightful pool to cool down in. Floriana was extremely helpful and answered any queries we had. The villa is in a wonderful unspoilt part of Italy – very authentic! We enjoyed numerous trips out to places such as Viterbo, Vasanello, Vignanello, Bagnorregio and Ronciglione – stunning medieval towns. Villa Lante and Caprarola had amazing interiors and gardens. A fun day at Lago di Vico, enjoying a pedalo in the volcanic crater (plus a relaxing meal as the sun set, with a wild boar family running along the beach!). Rome is only 40 minutes away by train but the more local Teatro di Ferento is certainly well worth a visit. The beach at Sant Agostino is only an hour away and let’s not forget Soriano!! So much to see and do – interspersed with days chilling by the gorgeous pool. What more could you ask?!
The villa and location were perfect, exactly as advertised. The owners and their local representative, Floriana, were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend hiring a car to explore the local area, some amazing places to visit. Floriana is an certified tour guide and we booked her for a few visits, we’ll worth it and made our holiday one to remember! A 20 minute drive to Orte and a 40 minute train journey and you’re in the centre of Rome… Without doubt one of our best holidays and would recommend without hesitation if you want to explore that part of Italy or just relax by the pool.

Many thanks for your lovely review Paul - very much appreciated. Tuscia is a very underrated area - hasn't been Tuscanised yet! So glad you seem to have enjoyed it as much as we do. We'd love to have you back (repeat visit 10% discount) should you ever want to visit again. Cheers Pete and Ingrid
We stayed for a week in Casa Glenister and wished we didn’t have to leave! Everyone in our party had an amazing time, adults and kids. The Villa is so comfortable and spacious with excellent cooking facilities indoors and out and the pool was perfect for cooling down and relaxing. The area around the villa is also fantastic and we followed many of the local recommendations of the hosts, Pete and Ingrid, who were fantastic to correspond with and made the holiday experience very easy. We would love to go back and stay!

Thanks so much for the lovely review - very much appreciated especially the mention of how lovely the local area is - we think it's very underrated as compared to Tuscany and Umbria and more the "real Italy" in so many ways. We'd love to have you back - just email when you fancy and we'll give you our repeat customer discount! Cheers Pete and Ingrid
Casa Glenister, 82 Via della Guina S.Eutizio, Soriano nel Cimino/ Viterbo, Lazio, 01038, Italy Date of Stay 21 Oct 2017 We had a wonderful time here. A family of eight sharing my wife's fortieth birthday. The Villa is amazing. The pool was refreshing, but it was late October! The views are spectacular having evening meals on the rear patio. Florence is only two hours drive away and Rome only just over an hour. Amazing places to visit nearby also. Overall, we had a brilliant time. The weather was a warm 21c most days.
Casa Glenister is the perfect villa for family holidays. There were ten in our party - 6 adults and 4 children. The villa is very comfortable and well kitted out with all necessary conveniences. The large pool is superb, set in a huge garden, and the views from the terraces are magnificent. There are plenty of interesting places to visit within easy reach including Lake Vico, Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Viterbo and of course, Rome.
We had a fantastic stay in Casa Glenister. The villa was great and we spent many an hour in the pool and also in the games room playing table tennis. The kitchen had recently been refurbished and we mostly self catered. The local Coop in Soriano had everything we needed. We did try out the local pizzeria, which was very reasonable also. Flori was really helpful and made some great suggestions for excursions. We went to the sculpture park in Bomarzo, went to the forests (La Faggeta) on the Cimino mountain, the lake at Bolsena, and some of the party took a day trip to Rome. The weather was perfect with a lovely breeze, which meant the heat never became too much. Ingrid and Pete were great at ensuring we had everything we needed to know before we set off, and with Flori being nearby we always felt like we could seek advice or recommendations. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough, and I'm certain we will return again as we felt we had only just scratched the surface of things to do around Soriano.
