We had a wonderful two weeks at Villa Lagartija in October. Warm and sunny everyday so made good use of the fabulous pool and all the comfy sun beds. There is seating everywhere in both sun and shade and being south facing the sun is with you all day including the evening when you can enjoy watching it set from the upper terrace. It’s a very peaceful location with just two villas nearby and the garden and surrounding area has many trees creating a very natural relaxing environment. It’s convenient for the well stocked local supermarket, and the ‘panaderia’ selling gorgeous bread and pastries. These and the beach are an easy five minute drive from the villa. Also walkable but steep. The villa is very comfortably furnished and well equipped. We particularly appreciated the proper coffee machine for our morning cappuccinos! Steve was brilliant at communicating all that we needed to know right from the start and when we needed a new gas bottle Maria was there within 10 minutes. I would like to say that we explored the island because I could see how easy it is to get around but we just couldn’t bear to leave the villa and the gorgeous pool and garden! Maybe next year!
We spent a week a lovely week at Casa Lucia in Son Bou. The villa was light and airy with a very spacious lounge and air conditioning which was a godsend during the afternoon! The villa was incredibly well equipped and had all the essentials to hand such as washing up liquid, herbs and spices, avoiding having to buy them. There were also beach rollls, parasols and ice boxes etc for days at the beach which was fantastic. I would highly recommend a stay if you are looking for a chilled, quiet and relaxing break as the location of the villa is a bit further out and completely private.
Villa is situated on the quiet end of tori soli nou. It was easy to find . The well kept front and rear garden was a pleasure to view.. the rear garden was a large size with a beautiful pool. Plenty of places in the garden to dine and relax. Comfortable garden / patio furniture to relax on. There was a Hugh garden box which had everything you need fir the kids/adults to play with ..football..pool toys and Inflatables .. the villa it's self is to a lovely standard..very clean and everything you need is already there. From tin foil to hair straighteners...I can not find one fault with the villa.. it was so peaceful .the added bonus is the car available to hire too..... I've stayed in over 20 villas in and around son bou...but this one is by far the best...I'm already looking at dates to book up to bring my granddaughter.. the host Steve was very helpful with all the communication... in the villa there's a folder with everything you need to know. From days out to using the dishwasher... the added bonus was the lovely cat that was around the villa..... so please don't let the position of where the villa is situated put you off..... I've found my little piece of heaven in this villa ...
We have just come back from spending two weeks in this lovely villa. The villa is well maintained and has everything one could wish for in the way of equipment. The kitchen is equipped with good standard glassware and crockery and every utensil you could need - including a blender which was extremely useful for blending my sons food. The air con in each room was ideal in the very hot weather we experienced during our stay, The outside of the villa is well maintained - as is the pool - and the sun loungers are of good quality which really matters for a two week stay. The plentiful trees and shrubs gave numerous places to sit in the shade when the sun became too hot. The internet could be slightly problematic at times but I understand this is due to be upgraded. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa, and we will certainly be back.
Fantastic communication by the owners, very helpful and accommodating. The villa was beautiful and very clean throughout, villa had everything you could need, freesat tv, dvds and board games were a nice touch. Would go back in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
From first booking with Steve nothing was a problem (not our first time) the villa was just as good as it was 20 years ago there is everything you could wish for very quiet that suited me and my wife I enjoyed wailing down to son bou every day to get fresh bread the pool was a bit cold when we stayed at the villa early June the gardens are well kept and with Steve car there was a bonus for shopping trips or the odd cheeky McDonald’s, if your in 2 minds regarding booking don’t be a relaxing stay perfect location I would say if mobility is a issue this wouldn’t be your villa it’s about a mile to the supermarkets and restaurants
