Description
Sitio de Calahonda is conveniently located on the Costa Del Sol between La Cala and Marbella with easy access to Malaga and its international airport. This spacious penthouse apartment with two main floor terraces and a huge private rooftop solarium is the perfect place to call home for your holiday vacation. It boasts three double bedrooms, two bathrooms both with walk-in showers, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living/dining room. The apartment is set within beautifully kept grounds featuring a communal pool.The beaches, bars, shops and restaurants are within a ten minute walk.
The apartment is on the top floor of a two story building with no lift and the rooftop solarium is accessed by a spiral staircase so it is not suitable for toddlers or persons with mobility issues. And as this is a quiet community we respectfully cannot allow party groups.
Price reductions for stays longer than 7 nights as well as for low occupancy.

By Brix on the Road on 25-Jan-2025My daughter and I had such a wonderful stay at Casa SusannaMaria. This lovely penthouse apartment is located about 35 min from Malaga and 15 min from glamorous Marbella and Puerto Banús. We rented a car for part of our stay and there was ample street parking. We did day trips to Ronda, Mijas Pueblo, Malaga, Marbella and Caminito del Rey. The apartment is on a lovely tree lined street in a quiet, safe neighbourhood and a short ten minute walk to the beach. There is a boardwalk for morning runs or a long leisurely stroll with many cafes restaurants and bars. Water sports, kite surfing and rentals are available as well. There is a modern gym and cafe 5 min away and several charming restaurants in the town. The apartment is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean with three generously sized bedrooms with natural light and small balconies. The two modern bathrooms have lovely walk in showers and lots of hot water. The living area is bright and spacious with a large comfy sofa, big screen TV and dining table. The apartment has both air conditioning and heat for the cooler months. Susanna has added lots of touches to make you feel even more at home. Lovely linens, lots of towels, throws cushions, blankets, candles, beach towels, beach chairs, blow dryers and a very well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the welcome basket and the many pantry items, spices etc that we were able to use. Coffee and breakfast on the lower terrace in the morning is a great way to start your day. A spiral staircase takes you to a gorgeous, spacious and sunny upper terrace in a garden like setting with large planters and flowers. Lots of Sun loungers, a dining area, BBQ and solarium with lovely views. It is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, read a book and watch the sun go down. There is also a nice size pool for guest’s use on the well maintained grounds. Susanna was just a phone call away for any questions and was happy to make suggestions for things to do and see in the area. We so enjoyed our hike at the Caminito del Rey. A visit to Ronda is a must and the Pileta Cave, La Organic olive oil museum, old town Marbella, Mijas Pueblo and a walking tour of Malaga with We love Malaga. I would highly recommend Casa SusannaMaria and would certainly stay at this lovely apartment again. It was the perfect base for exploring and so nice to be in a quiet residential neighborhood with all the amenities of home!

By Louise MacRae on 28-Dec-2024Fantastic penthouse apartment, in a beautiful quiet residential location within Calahonda. Short 30 min drive from Malaga airport and very easy to find the apartment location. The apartment is very short walk to a great state of the art gym. Local shops and restaurants are a pleasant 5-10 mins walk. Having tried several restaurants in close proximity, they were all of great quality food, good price and very friendly staff. The walk to the beach is around 10 mins, or a short drive. There’s a fantastic boardwalk that runs alongside the beach to enjoy walks/run to Cabopino and La Cala, with cafes and restaurants along the way. The beach itself is beautiful, clean sandy beach. We also spent a day Marbella which is only about 10-15 mins drive. This beautiful 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is spacious and of a high standard with great attention to detail. It has everything you’d possibly need or could think of for an excellent stay. Outside the apartment there are two great south facing terraces with seating areas. Including a dining area and solarium on the top of the apartment which is very spacious with lovely views. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic apartment
By Karen Berry on 15-Dec-2024Can most definitely recommend this apartment. Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of space for everyone. Lovely terrace off the lounge with dining area and an amazing roof terrace with fantastic views. The location was ideal, a quiet area but within easy walking distance of everything you need. You could stay here without the need of a car if you’re happy to stay local. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and the beach with several chirinquitos are only a short walk away. The pool area is pretty and very well kept with sunloungers available. It was quiet while we were there but there is plenty of space had it been busier.
Wonderful home away from home…

The location was ideal as everything you would need or want was just mins from your door; shops, restaurants, beach, and even a new modern gym with outside courts was 5 - 10mins down the quiet beautiful neighborhood street. The apartment itself is very comfortable. Bright and fresh by day, while cosy and relaxing in the evenings. The bedrooms offered excellent closet and drawer storage so you could unpack and settle in. We were very happy with the efficient and well equipped kitchen that made it easy for having meals in. It was so nice to have our coffee and breakfast each morning on the terrace and take in the morning views. The roof top terrace was a fantastic retreat to read a book, sunbathe, or take a nap! The bathrooms have all of the modern amenities and also very clean. Exploring other near-by areas such as Malaga, Marbella, and La Cala was easy by Uber. We even spent a morning at the La Cala Golf & Spa resort which I also highly recommend. All in all I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this apartment and area of Spain. We will definitely stay here again! Hopefully sooner than later :)
Wonderful Ladies Weekend

We found the apartment to be a perfect base, so comfortable, beautifully furnished and so close to bars, restaurants and a top notch gym. The beach is within walking distance and there is a fabulous boardwalk that goes along the seafront for miles We enjoyed the Spa facilities at La Cala Golf Resort, and Sunday lunch at El Oceano Hotel. Very close to 3 other resorts as well as Calahonda including La Cala de Mijas, Cabopino and Marbella. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Just get in touch and get yourself booked in you'll not regret it. Perfect for friends, couples and families alike
Stunning Penthouse

From the excellently equipped kitchen and the comfort of the bedrooms and lounge to the spacious terraces suitable for dining and sun worshipping, it was perfect. The apartment is in a quiet, convenient location with a fabulous pool and has all amenities (gym, bars, restaurants, shops and beach) within a short stroll. Thank you to Susanna, the owner, who made sure I had an awesome weekend and I will definitely be back!!
