Description

A beach lover's dream apartment complex, Mi Capricho is right on the beach in Calahonda, one of the most successful beachfront properties in the area. This front-line beach complex has four blocks strategically located around two large kidney-shaped swimming pools.
Situated in the heart of Calahonda with access directly off the main N340 road which links Malaga with the Marbella area of the Costa Del Sol. Shop, restaurants, bars and entertainment are all within walking distance from the complex.

Two large kidney-shaped swimming pools are the centrepiece of the complex. The complex also has a kiddie pool, underground parking for all guests and a beachfront tiki bar. The back pool is open all year. The main pool at the front is seasonal, usually from April/May to September/October, weather permitting. The tiki bar is also seasonal and opening times may vary depending on weather, etc.
Calahonda is popular for its array of shopping, and local markets conveniently located just a walk from the complex. The area has a great selection of restaurants and evening entertainment.

The boardwalk is a 6km walk that extends from La Cala de Mijas and ends 500 meters short of Cabopino passing through Calahonda. Our guests can access the boardwalk directly from the community gardens and enjoy a brisk walk or a gentle stroll along our beautiful coastline. The boardwalk forms part of the Senda Litoral De Malaga (Malaga coastal path) and when eventually completed will run from Nerja to Manilva and span 163kms. The boardwalk has bars and restaurants along the way as it hugs the coastline. The boardwalk continues across the Cabopino sand dune nature reserve.

Mijas Costa: 6 Miles of some of Spain's best beaches running from Fuengirola to Marbella at the heart of the Sunny Costa del Sol. The perfect quiet holiday spot for sun worshipers and golfers alike being well away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts.

Mi Capricho is a quiet family complex with beautifully maintained communal areas and landscaped gardens. A condition of all bookings is that you respect the property and other residents (both permanent residents and other holidaymakers) by adhering to the community rules.

Wonderful family holiday location

Lovely location and perfect views. Property is very spacious and comfortable. The pool is fantastic and just outside the door. The pool bar staff are lovely and helpful. No noise from the bar at night. Nice to walk along the broad walk to multiple bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend ‘Alberts Bar & Grill’ at Puerto de Cabopino and we have left their card on the notice board in kitchen. Perfect communication with Alan and Anna throughout, thank you We would highly recommend this property and hope to go back ❤️

Lovely apartment, photos don''t do it justice.Fantastic location opposite the pool and had a great sea view. Several bars and restaurants along the boardwalk and a ten minute walk into town where there are are more bars and restaurants.

Myself and 2 friends had a wonderful time at this apartment. The view is amazing and the apartment had everything we needed. Lovely little garden next to pool. Unfortunately, the bottom pool and bar were not open when we were there (20/4 to 27/4), however, we soon found the Royal Beach Pirata, which was just a few minutes walk along the promenade, where we went every day. Great food, cocktails and staff plus we hired comfortable loungers for 7 euros each and stayed there from midday to 7pm most days. The weather was perfect and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If there is one down side to the location, it is that you have to cross an overhead bridge to get to the supermarket and bars behind the complex. The road is very busy and crossing the bridge didn''t suit one of our group. However, that said, you cannot hear the road noise at all from the apartment. We would stay again. Thank you Alan and Antonette :) Tip: place an order with Mercadona online and have all your groceries delivered to the complex.

We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend this apartment. Initial booking and communication prior to our arrival was great with all our questions answered promptly, the apartment was easy to find around 35/40 mins drive from the airport. Whilst at the airport we messaged to say we had arrived and when we got to the complex we where met and shown around the apartment. The apartment has everything you need, 3 big bedrooms , a fully equipped kitchen and utility type room, 2 bathrooms, air conditioning and a fantastic view to the pool area and sea. It is in an ideal position, ground floor with a nice outside area and very easy access to the pool area and boardwalk / beach. Our kids loved it ! The poolside bar is open all day and offers refreshments / drinks plus there are a few nice places to eat within a few mins walk. Ther is also a big supermarket within walking distance to stock up and a Lidl within a 5 min drive. The communication throughout our stay was first class and we will definitely stay here again, many thanks
