Casa de la Roca is a beautiful 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Moorish styled villa that benefits from breath taking views of beautiful mountains and picturesque valleys, and enjoys maximum all year-round sunshine, with a total of three separate patio terrace areas and a sunny westerly aspect that is almost unrivalled throughout the local area.The property benefits from a totally private secluded walled Andalusian style courtyard complete with a Wave Spa hot tub, solar heated outside shower, shaded pergola and lovely lemon tree! This area is well equipped with ample outside seating and sunbeds, and is ideal for alfresco dining or soaking up the all-day sunshine, as are the other terraces, one ideally equipped for breakfast and the other for relaxing in the comfortable outside furniture whilst enjoying a sundowner and watching the most amazing sunsets.
The villa also has use of a large communal swimming pool and is conveniently positioned literally just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the village, where guests can enjoy the facilities that include a fabulous Moroccan styled restaurant, local bar, tennis (small fee) and petanque courts. There are also many great walks around the beautiful mountains and other facilities nearby include more restaurants in Cortijo Grande valley below and in Turre (10 mins drive) where there are local shops, supermarkets, banks & cafes, etc, as well as a popular weekly local market. Mojacar is about 20 mins drive away, with its stunning beaches, water sports, shops and an array of restaurants & bars which is well worth a visit.
This charming villa is perfect for 2 couples sharing or a family of 4, as it has 2 separate double bedrooms both with their own private en-suite bathroom. However it is worth noting that it may not be suitable for families with very young children, as the second bedroom & bathroom are located across the private internal courtyard and therefore separate from the main house.
Casa de la Roca is beautifully presented & well equipped, for all your holiday needs with a bright & airy open plan lounge/dining room with traditional domed ceiling and a fully fitted kitchen with granite worksurfaces, large fridge/freezer, electric oven/gas hob and a dishwasher, etc. There is also a gas hotplate/BBQ in the internal patio, as well as the hot tub, solar shower, and outside dining table ideal for alfresco dining . A further outside useful utility room housing a washing machine and clothes line. The property also benefits from air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, reclining sofas and wall mounted TV.

Local bar within 2 minutes walk and local town 10 minutes by car which has all the conveniences and bars that you need. All in all , a stunning villa in a fantastic location, not to mention the westerly sun sets from the lounge terrace which amazing.

Our holiday was perfect thanks to the wonderful villa owned by Graham and Jacqueline, very kind and efficient hosts! The villa has every possible comfort and facilities and is kept with the utmost care and cleanliness; also we will not forget the beautiful view from the terraces of the villa and our aperitifs during the Andalusian sunsets. It was wonderful!
By Kerstin Engel on 17-Aug-2023Great place in the middle of the mountains. If you are looking for peace and relaxation is just right here. Everything very comfortable and clean. We didn''t miss anything. Super nice hosts. Communication went smoothly. For the second bedroom, we were even asked if this should be furnished with double bed or twin beds. What a service and thought, thank you very much. On the day of arrival we got the offer to meet together for a parking space. Then we were led to the villa. In the village upstairs itself there are 2 restaurants. More can be found at the bottom of the village in Turre, where there are also shopping opportunities. Although the villa is in the middle of the mountains, the path to the beach is not far. We enjoyed our time, did and experienced a lot. It was wonderful.
Spectacular Sunsets

The area is very nice, the sunsets are spectacular, and the inner courtyard is very nice, cool and intimate. Very attentive, there was a small incident with the air conditioning and they resolved it in less than an hour!
We liked everything about our stay
By Daniel Torres on 26-Jul-2023We liked everything about our stay, the place is beautiful and very quiet, spectacular landscapes. The house had everything we need, very well equipped. Graham is very friendly and helpful. 15/20 minutes from the beaches, restaurants and bars of Mojacar. The pool is very good and always understaffed. We mostly had the pool to ourselves. Certainly we will return.
