The Villa was clean and very well equipped. There was a ten meter swimming pool which was excellent. The owner who lived near by was incredibly helpful..

Alan is a great owner to deal with, he gets back to you straight away and has been wonderful in dealing with issues during the Covid19 pandemic- he refunded our deposit immediately no questions asked and gave us various options to postpone/re book later as well, whatever we wanted. Looking forward to staying at the villa soon!
We booked the villa in December 2019, as it gave us plenty of room for a party including three generations and three different families. We were looking forward to our visit to Sardinia (booked for August 2020) when the owner of the villa cancelled the holiday three months beforehand, as due to Corona Virus he was unable to get out the prepare the villa and compete work on the pool and no-one knew how the situation would unfold. He offered us the chance of a refund of the deposit or the chance to book again in 2021 with a discount. We chose the former, as we were planning the trip to celebrate post A levels and also had an 85 year old among our party!! Initially we were disappointed and waited for a couple of months to see if we would be able to get a refund for our flights (Easyjet and BA). BA have recently cancelled the flights and offered a refund (which is providing impossible to get as their phones are always busy), whilst Easyjet customers have been able to change the flight. We were also lucky to have booked car hire that we could cancel! Throughout the booking process the owner, Alan, was helpful and responded quickly. He also allowed us to book on a weekday, which was appreciated as it avoids the more expensive weekend flights. We do understand his reason for cancelling and hope to visit Sardinia one day!!
We had a fantastic week's stay in Alan's spacious, family-friendly house. It was the perfect place for two families (each with three children under the age of 8 years old) to relax by the pool and enjoy the stunning local beaches. The layout was excellent with an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room upstairs and each family had a separate floor so we could easily have some private time to chill out. The bedrooms & ensuite bathrooms were all of a generous size so there was no issue with feeling cramped. My favourite time was relaxing in the evening looking out from the balcony over the fabulous views and enjoying the peace and quiet. The local beaches were beautiful, especially Lu Impostu, but the children loved the swimming pool most of all, including the various toys. Alan was a brilliant host prior to our visit and during with super recommendations & always going the extra mile e.g. meeting us near the airport to guide us & giving us bottled water. There were so many extras like beach towels, sun umbrellas, games, etc that made our stay even better. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing holiday home with amazing views close to San Teodoro.
Cest une ancienne maison rénovée est très bien équipée pour y sejourner. Elle est isolée dans les montagnes le paysage et relaxant si vous recherchez un dépaysement. Dommage juste sur un point, pour les gros dormeurs la maison nest pas équipée de store, elle possède des volets en bois laissant traverser la lumière mais il ny a vraiment pas de quoi gacher le sejour. La piscine est entretenue par le propriétaire très régulièrement. Il y prête une grande attention. Elle nécessite néanmoins la surveillance d'adultes sil y a des enfants. Il faut obligatoirement etre véhiculé. Dans l'ensemble nous etions 10. 5 adultes 5 enfants et nous avons passés un SUPERBE sejour dans cette maison. Le propriétaire retraité est joignable a tout moment est très agréable, l'accueil est convivial. Je recommande cette demeure la vue est imprenable.
Die einzeln gelegene Villa bietet reichlich Platz, viel Ruhe und einigen Komfort. Wohnzimmer und Küche befinden sich im ersten Stock, von wo aus man einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die umgebenden Korkeichenwälder und Berge sowie einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Zwei Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind im ersten Stock, drei im Erdgeschoss, wo man das Haus durch eine praktische Waschküche betritt. Die Einrichtung ist zweckdienlich und hat durchaus einen etwas britischen Charme, was dem schottischen Vermieter geschuldet ist, der jederzeit für uns erreichbar war und alle zwei Tage den Pool gereinigt hat. Das Haus hat einige Gebrauchsspuren, ist aber insgesamt wirklich gut in Schuss. Die Bäder sind größtenteils sehr gut ausgestattet und großzügig geschnitten. Kleinere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Pizzerien sowie einen von den Bewohnern zu nutzenden Wertstoffhof für die Müllentsorgung (strenge Mülltrennung) gibt es im nahegelegenen Örtchen Padru. Das bunte Treiben und die herrlichen Strände von San Teodoro sind in rund 20-minütiger Autofahrt ebenso gut zu erreichen wie die tollen Strände im etwas beschaulicheren Budoni. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es großartige Agriturismo-Restaurants (das „Casteddu“ ist unbedingt zu empfehlen!). Im Gegensatz zu den Häusern in der Stadt und in Strandnähe kühlt es hier am Berg nachts wunderbar ab - noch nie in mehr als 25 Jahren Sardinien-Urlauben haben wir so gut geschlafen! Der Poolbereich ist mit einem Sichtschutz umgeben, hier wird man nicht gestört und stört auch selbst niemanden beim Toben und Spielen. Der Holzboden im Erdgeschoss bringt optische Wärme, verrät aber - vor allem nachts - fast jede Bewegung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und geräumig, ein eigener Grillplatz ist vorhanden. Drei Fahrzeuge können bequem auf dem Anwesen geparkt werden, das allerdings nicht eingezäunt ist. Andererseits kommt hier niemand vorbei, denn das Grundstück wird über eine unscheinbare unbefestigte Straße erreicht, in die man auf freier Strecke von der Landstraße aus einbiegt. Wir haben hier mit zehn Erwachsenen und einem 3-jährigen Kind einen traumhaft schönen und wirklich erholsamen Mehrgenerationen-Familien-Urlaub verbracht und können das Haus all denen wärmstens empfehlen, die bereit sind für "Action" ein Stückchen zu fahren und die Ruhe und Natur der sardischen Hügellandschaft zu schätzen wissen. Alan Barton ist ein sehr freundlicher und absolut zuverlässiger Vermieter. Vielen Dank auch ihn für die schöne Zeit!
