Two storey villa, beautifully decorated throughout with three good sized double bedrooms to comfortably accommodate six guests. We also have a double sofa bed for two more guests. The outdoor living area comprises of large upper and lower terraces with a private pool, a hot tub and a babecue area.
Peacfully located on the popular Monte de los Almendros urbanisation, 'Tranquilidad' is a most wonderful, luxury retreat overlooking the white washed town of Salobreña with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Mediterranean sea.
Two of the bedrooms are on the main living level; a master bedroom with an Emperor size double and separate dressing room. The second bedroom has a King size double, a standard double sofa bed and wardrobe. The third bedroom (downstairs), has an Emperor size double and separate dressing room. All three bedrooms have warm/cool air conditioning, luxury en suite bathrooms with a hair dryer and patio doors to an outside terrace with sea views.
Spend your days outdoors, relaxing on the upper wraparound terrace, enjoying lovely views of the surrounding hills and Mediterranean sea, or wonder down to the lower terrace where you can also swim in your own private pool (accessed safely by Roman steps), take it easy in the hot tub, or while away the afternoon by sun bathing on one of the six loungers.
Complete the outdoor living experience by cooking on the barbecue and sharing an alfresco meal with your family at the eight place dining table.
Taking yourself back indoors, the main living area is open plan with warm/cool air conditioning. The lounge area that comfortably seats six, has a 49'' TV with smart box, midi hifi, dvd player and free wi-fi. The kitchen is very well equipped too, with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob (with extractor), an electric oven and a microwave. There is a dining table for six and further seating for two at the kitchen island.
Popularly known as the 'Jewel' of the Costa Tropical, Salobreña is a truly vibrant and friendly Spanish town, offering all you need to make magical memories with your family. There are the restaurants and tapas bars found along the narrow streets that wind their way up to the Moorish castle, 17th century church and museum; two main beaches with numerous chiringuito restaurants where Flamenco is often performed in the Summer; an indoor market where fresh local produce is available daily, plus a weekly open air market; a tourist information office, where guided tours of the old town are booked; a taxi rank and a bus station on the edge of town. There is also a bus service from outside the tourist information to take you up and down from the castle if you prefer not to go on foot.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our manager, who will explain all the essentials about the home and surrounding area, remaining available to assist you during your stay. The property will be cleaned throughout prior to your arrival and fresh linen and towels are provided for each full week.
Originally built in 1987, the villa was extended and tastefully modernised in 2019 with the help of a local architect and still retains much of its original Andalucían charm. Upon entering, you sense the serenity of Tranquilidad and when you leave at the end of your holiday, you are revitalised with the fondest of memories, promising yourself to return again one day soon.
The villa is reassuringly secure with window grilles and electric shutters and the area is very quiet. For your additional peace of mind, a rural guard service regular patrols the urbanisation.
Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival is 3:00 pm onwards and departure is before 11:00 am.
