Situated high up on the popular Monte de los Almendros urbanisation, with panoramic views including the Mediterranean, the Moorish castle and white washed town of Salobreña, 'Tranquilidad' is the perfect villa for beautiful scenery and privacy, just a fifteen minute drive from the beach.
Popularly known as 'The Jewel' of the Costa Tropical, Salobreña is a truly Spanish town with a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, offering everything you need for a very happy and memorable holiday, all in one locality. There are the narrow, pretty streets of the old town, dotted with cafes and tapas bars which wind their way up to the castle and museum, two main beaches with numerous chiringuito restaurants where Flamenco is performed in the Summer, an indoor market, a weekly open air market, a tourist information office, a taxi rank and a bus station on the edge of town. There is also a bus service outside the tourist information to get you up and down from the castle if you don't fancy the hike.
The villa has three bedrooms to comfortably accommodate six guests and we also have an adult size sofa bed in one of the bedrooms for an additional two guests. Two bedrooms are on the main living level of the villa; a master bedroom with an Emperor size double bed and separate dressing room. The second bedroom is a family room, with a King size double bed, a standard double sofa bed and a wardrobe. The third bedroom which is downstairs, has an Emperor size double bed and separate dressing room. All three of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, sea views, warm or cool air conditioning and patio doors leading to the outside terraces.
Enjoy your holiday outdoors, relaxing on the upper wraparound terrace with lovely views of the Mediterranean and surrounding landscape, or down on the lower terrace where you can also have a refreshing swim in the pool, take it easy with a hydro massage in the six seat hot-tub and sun bathe on one of the six loungers. Complete your Spanish day outdoors by cooking on the barbecue and sharing an alfresco meal with your family at the eight place dining table.
The main indoor living area is open plan and has warm or cool air conditioning. The lounge area has a TV with smart box, a midi hifi, a dvd player and free wi-fi. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob (with extractor), an electric oven and a microwave. There is a six place dining table and further seating for two at the kitchen island.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by our property manager, who will explain all the essentials about the home and surrounding area. The manager will also be available to assist with any issues during the entire rental period. The property will be cleaned throughout on the day prior to rental and fresh linen and towels are provided each week of the rental period. For an additional cost, further cleaning during the rental period may be arranged directly with the manager.
Originally built in 1987, the villa was extended and tastefully modernised in 2019 with the assistance of a local architect and builder, enhancing the Andalucían features and charm. Upon entering, you sense the spirit and serenity of Tranquilidad and when you leave at the end of your holiday, you are revitalised with the fondest of memories, promising yourself to return again and again.
The villa is very secure with window grilles and electric shutters and the area is very quiet. For your additional peace of mind, a rural guard service regularly patrols the urbanisation.
