Description

A spacious detached villa at the end of a quiet residential street, 15 minutes walk from the beach. Kick off your shoes and relax into the bright and cosy living room, complete with large sofa and steps up to the dining area. Our kitchen is newly fitted, and includes a dishwasher so you can enjoy your stay to the fullest. Stroll into town for dinner, or stay in and use our built-in cooker, microwave and induction hob to whip up your own creations.
Our two bedrooms are freshly painted and feature fitted wardrobes for all your finest beachwear. We've even added air conditioning units to keep your siestas cool and comfortable. We have two modern bathrooms, one with a bidet.
Casa Abuelita is surrounded by flower beds and clean tiles, perfect for catching the sun and watching the world go by. Two enclosed yards to the rear offer more privacy, and space for washing and drying clothes for longer stays.
In a friendly neighbourhood filled with plants, you'll feel right at home at Casa Abuelita. A short walk away is the Biosphera shopping centre, the Old Port with its beautiful harbourside restaurants, and beaches full of watersports and sunbathing. Party-goers will love the strip along Playa Blanca, with plenty of bars and music venues to keep you going into the night.
Further afield you can spend a day at the waterpark or go-karting track, or hire a car and explore the beautiful beaches and strange volcanic rock formations that this island has to offer. You can catch a ferry to neighbouring Fuertaventura to extend your adventure, or venture up to La Graciosa at the northern tip of Lanzarote. By the way, there is no TV (look at the scenery!) or pool (swim in the sea!)

Great villa in good location

By Carole Hoggart on 04-Feb-2024

Stayed for a week in Casa Abuelita and was very impressed. Location was excellent, close enough to walk to shops, bars, taxi ranks, the old town harbour and the main beaches. The villa was spotless, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, even included beach towels. Nice outside area for relaxing. The beaches were beautiful, ranging from smaller bays with clear water to large expanses of sandy beach, all well maintained. Plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes. The villa owners were very helpful, nothing was a problem. Thoroughly recommend.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! I'm sorry the lifeguards wouldn't let you go into the sea on the first day... I never knew they did that! It was a very extreme Calima...
