Description
Luxury one bedroom, front line cottage, on 2 levels, overlooking the boardwalk and bustling harbour in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. Within walking distance to a number of bars, restaurants and shops, but located on a quiet road with parking. The nearest beach, Playa Chica, is a short stroll away. Door from bedroom open out on to some narrow steps, but there is no access to the rocks below, as there is a steep drop.

By Sheena and Denis Le Prevost on 19-Mar-2025Delfin ( El mar) was an absolute joy to stay in, right from searching, dealing with Gina to staying in the tastefully upgraded property was an enjoyable experience. When we arrived , we were really surprised to see a little welcome basket with , Bread, Jam, tinned Tuna, crisps, cookies, in the fridge was milk, orange juice, butter, beers, wine, a lovely little touch was a bottle of sparkling wine in an ice bucket with glasses ready for us as it was my Husbands special birthday. The attention to detail was second to none, the maisonette had everything you needed to have an amazing holiday, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, dishwasher, washing machine. The kitchen had been recently replaced and was lovely and modern, the bathroom was lovely and bright and plenty of hot water. The beds were so comfortable, made up of twin beds, each with their own remote control to raise and lower for your legs and back, something we did not expect in a holiday apartment. There is a lovely big flat screen TV with all the English channels you can wish for along with additional boxes that my husband loved , Telestar and Mag Box The patio doors open out on to a lovely terrace facing over the marina, it was a joy to people and boat watch, a lovely table and two chairs and a sun lounger were on it to enjoy your morning cup of tea or breakfast , watching the sun come up. Delfin is located in the perfect position, overlooking the harbour, walking distance to all the restaurants and bars with plenty of live music, there is parking right outside and it is in the most peaceful location. This property is on two floors and the bedroom is located on the ground floor, again with amazing views of the harbour, there is a door and a window that you can open. Plenty of storage space. I cannot recommend Delfin ( El Mar) enough and we will definitely stay again. Thank you Gina for being so friendly and helpful, we took care of it for you .
A very special cottage
By PAT SARRE on 21-Jan-2025It's me again leaving a review for Delfin Cottage, this is our fourth visit, we so look forward to our time at Gina and John's wonderful cottage, it has everything, wonderful views from the balcony, a real home from home that has everything you could wish for and more. Kept immaculate by Jo, lovely to catch up with her each year, Louise is at hand for any queries, i.e. organizing taxi's, etc. There is always a lovely hamper and items in the fridge (thank you Gina and John) when you arrive, so don't have to dash out shopping as soon as you unpack, plus its only a five minute walk to the harbour restaurant's and into the Old Town where there is a great choice of restaurant's. If you scroll back you will see all my reviews over the years to see just how special Delfin Cottage is and yes we are booked in for next year 2026 as always will be looking forward to our time there.

Excellence in the sun
By Bob & Moira on 17-Sep-2024Once again we have returned to Gina & John's wonderful harbour cottage and WOW ! the many upgrades to the kitchen are fabulous. As we have said before in our reviews the cottage never fails to impress. The cottage is spotless throughout thanks to Jo, and Louise is on hand if you have any questions regarding the property. Views, Location and Welcome pack are second to none. Wi-Fi and all TV channels available if needed but with views of the harbour and boardwalk, chilling on the balcony with a coffee or a glass of vino watching people and life in the sun, we were more than happy. It is very relaxing with a great choice of restaurants and bars within a short stroll from the cottage. Gina and John respond very quickly to any questions you may have. Thank you again Gina & John for sharing your beautiful property
Brilliant cottage
By Tricia & Willie on 31-May-2024Fantastic place to stay. Lovely welcome pack on arrival, cottage spotless, great WiFi and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Spent most of our time watching the boats and people watching. Lots of good restaurants nearby at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic accommodation
