Thank you for sharing this wonderful oasis with us. Our family travelled from three countries to meet up and celebrate our father’s 60th birthday. It’s the first time since the pandemic started that we could travel together and what an amazing week we’ve had. Lovely morning walks (including an encounter with a wild boar that was in a hurry to cross the road), long days by the pool and plenty of cooking in the well equipped kitchen. We had plans of making it to a vineyard or city-sightseeing but we couldn’t bear leaving the house - the view and surroundings were too good. We are all amazed by the effort and attention to detail you put into renovating this place. We will be back again for sure
What a wonderful way to end the summer, we’ve had a fabulous week in the hills exploring Assisi, Gubbio and Perugia on some days; reading, walking and lounging by the pool on others. We’ve been wowed by the nature (deers, snake and a praying mantis) and by the sunsets; have also enjoyed barbeques, porchetta and homemade mushroom soup as well as many a glass of prosecco.
What a wonderful oasis Torricella provided- an amazing & relaxing break from the madness of Covid and quarantine. The location is to die for and the views sublime. The painstaking restoration of this lovely house has provided much inspiration for our project. Thank you!
