Hi Margie, Sorry for delay in writing this review. We had the most wonderful stay in this comfortable villa set in olive and fruit tree groves in the country lanes just 10 minutes drive from the delightful town of Ostuni. It has everything you need, including a well kept pool and outside seating area, comfortable beds, and a lovely living room, and is the perfect place for a peaceful holiday, with plenty of great places to visit nearby, including sandy Adriatic beaches and beautiful old towns. We were there in the spring and the lanes and groves are lined and carpeted with wild flowers. Any queries are promptly answered and dealt with. Highly recommend! Tartaruga Holiday. I was lucky enough to stay at Tartaruga for 3 weeks from mid-June 2022. Tucked away among other properties in spacious grounds it is only 5 mins drive from Ostuni town, a perfect location to base from. I was travelling with my dog, so it was important to find accommodation that worked for us. I also had some visitors who flew to Brindisi airport which is convenient for collections as it is less than 30 mins drive away. The Villa is very comfortably furnished with plenty of room for 6 and everything in the kitchen worked. The thick walls kept us cool in hot weather, and the views from the roof terrace were charming. There is a good outside dining area off the kitchen which is where we lived and ate most of the time There is a super swimming pool which is cleaned and managed by the housekeepers who live off site and you don’t even know they’ve been. The villa has 3 bedrooms and a nice cool lounge. Days were spent at the fantastic nearby beaches which are easy to get to with free parking. The sea was lovely and clear, nice sandy beaches and some rocky coves for snorkeling. Most were gently shelving, good sand, and some offer facilities (such as restaurants/ food, sunbeds, and parasols. Pilone 1 and 2, Torre cane and Torre via glacette are good. You simply can''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''t help but love the atmosphere in Ostuni. It''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s one of Puglia’s most beautiful white hilltop towns and as such is always bursting with life. You''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''ll find, well-stocked cantinas, shops and eateries aplenty and it''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s just 5 mins drive from the villa. I cannot recommend it highly enough and found Margaret/Lucy is a delightful owner and so easy to deal with. Joanna S UK

Schönes Haus mit einem großen Grundstück, besonders der Pool hat es unseren Teenagertöchtern sehr angetan .Beautiful domicile for family holidays Beautiful house with a large plot, especially the pool has done it to our teenage daughters very much.
Soggiorno a trullo Tartaruga 5/5 Stayed Aug 2021 Victoria C. 2 coppie 2 bimbe e un cane, nelle 2 settimane centrali di Agosto. La struttura è esattamente come nelle foto, abbiamo passato 2 settimane godendoci a pieno questo bellissimo trullo. -piscina e grandi spazi all’aperto ci hanno permesso di goderci la vacanza -casa molto pulita e organizzata, arredata in modo molto gradevole A pochi minuti di macchina (circa 10) da Ostuni e ancora meno da carovigno. Costanza, il contatto di riferimento per qualunque cosa è sempre stata molto disponibile, ma noi non abbiamo avuto bisogno di contattare quasi mai perché tutto è proceduto perfettamente. J & C .UK We were very lucky to get away in these uncertain times and we were so very lucky to stay at Trullo Tartaruga near to Ostuni. Such a peaceful position set amongst fruit trees and fields. The outlook from the villa was beautiful. The pool was lovely and clean and well maintained and surrounded by tall pine trees which was a fabulous backdrop when swimming. The Trullo was cool and well equipped our son joined us for 4 days but there was room for at least 6. We had 2 barbecues. We were near to many towns and visited most - Ostuni, Ceglie, Lecce, Alberobello, and Monopoli the beaches are also within easy reach our favourite being Bosco Verde. Margie was an excellent owner and nothing was too much trouble for her. Contanza and David maintain the property and, again, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend Trullo Tartaruga Thank you Julie & Chris for taking the time to review Tartaruga The villa is in an ideal position for guests to be able to visit and enjoy the many interesting towns in the region. The short drive to the best blue flag beaches in Puglia makes it also a perfect choice to vacation . We are so pleased that you and your son have, had such an enjoyable time Costanza and David do an outstanding job maintaining the villa and pool and yes nothing is too much trouble for them. Finalmente un po di tranquillità. 5/5 Stayed Aug 2020 Mauro T. Bella proprietà nella campagna pugliese tra Ostuni e Carovigno,. Il mare dista una decina di Km e alterna scogliere e spiagge sabbiose. Ai tempi del covid abbiamo abbondantemente apprezzato anche l'ampia ed invitante piscina, dotata di 6 comodi lettini prendisole ed un utile ombrellone, che ci ha consentito di rilassarci con privacy ed isolamento. Le dotazioni della villa sono complete, non manca nulla, si nota che viene usata anche dai proprietari. Complete ed esaurienti anche le indicazioni che i proprietari ci hanno rilasciato per sfruttare al meglio la nostra permanenza. Un grazie anche a Costanza e David per l'allestimento e pulizia della villa e il supporto fornito.
