We had a wonderful time with family at the villa. The location was great, peaceful and everything was safe and enjoyable for the children. Carmelina and salvatore are perfect hosts. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Sicily and feel at home! Ci rivediamo! Grazie mille Charlotte

Lovely villa with everything you need in it. The pool is lovely with a perfect choice of sun or shade and it’s in a lovely quiet rural area. You do need a car from the airport but motorways are good. We did day trips to Etna, which was amazing - you can see Taormina and Catania from the top and we saw recent lava flows and smoke rings!! We also spent a day trip to Syracuse which was lovely and ate at the piazza by the Drana Fountain, visited the Archimade and Da Vinci Museums which the kids enjoyed a lot. We also visited the castle of Ortigia and walked to see the Temple of Apollo and the market nearby. Locally we spent an evening at the Cultural Park which was interesting but quite expensive but the views from the top were amazing and walk climbing all the stairs. The Valley of the Temples was probably the most amazing day out and we returned the after to visit the Museum, the combined ticket lets you return for 3 days, which i think is good value. We visited the nearby San Leone beaches which is very safe (warm in July & August) to swim in with some bars and nice to walk along to the marina. The highlight of cuisine was the Pizza Night with our lovely hosts. Carmelina brought dough and we all learned how to prepare an authentic Sicilian Pizza, which her husband then cooked to perfection in the Pizza Oven, the wine is very nice too! There were also a wide selection or starters with cheeses, meats, olives, arancini...... Very relaxing place, too much to see in our trip so we mixed up with having some relaxing days by the pool to unwind Thanks for everything Nolan family
