Wonderful villa in Sicily
By louisemiller2015 on 01-Jul-2024We stayed here for a week with the family and grandkids I loved the fact that it was very secure and the pool was gated so didn't have to worry about the little ones and the pool, we all had a fantastic time and the weather was glorious, Carmelina went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was just a phone call away to take us where we needed to go, Pizza night was great so much food it was lovely to taste Sicilian food and it lasted us for days and was very tasty, I would recommend this villa as we all had a great time

Amazon villa
By Jade F on 20-Oct-2023Villa Gioiosa was amazing loved loved loved it the space, the pool, everything, Carmelina and family were fabulous hosts, just like family. We had a fantastic Pizza night, where we all made our own pizzas, there was massive amounts of food all served beautifully, olives, salami, mortadella, arancinin, red, white & rose vino and much more. Loads of choices on the pizzas, tasty lemon sorbet and espresso coffee for afterwards. Kids loved the play area, toys and pool. Washing machine was a bonus too. Fantastic trips out to the shops, Piazza Cavour, churches and views of the old town, Temples of Agrigento, San leone beach and Naro Cheap taxiing from Carmelina and Salvatore too. Everything was very relaxing and really lovely. Hope to come back soon Love from us all

By nasceraa on 10-Oct-2023Where do I start!?! Booked this villa due to the fantastic amenities for families. I''ve been on many villa holidays and this villa, by far is the most equipped for all the family. Arrived at villa and was welcomed by Carmelina and Salvatore who then gave us a tour and explained the alarm etc. Even though the alarm was explained to us, it was no bother to phone Carmelina and ask her to tell us again when we needed to put it on lol! We were probably too excited to take everything in when given the tour Carmelina would let us know when Salvatore, her husband was going to come and clean the pool. We didn''t need to be at villa for this, so no problem at all. Carmelina is a fantastic owner and doesn''t interfere with your holiday, however one call or text (I''m a texter) away and she was available for you. Unfortunately we didn''t do pizza night which is offered by Carmelina and looks delicious because with my 2 girls they are so fussy and didn''t want to eat al fresco or anything that was on offer so we reluctantly declined. My girls are that fussy I even sourced the nearest McDonald''s which is approximately 10mins away by car. And this leads me onto the need for a car. Initially we were going to get taxis however due to some family members pulling out of holiday we decided to rent a car for the 2 weeks which for me was the best thing the town isn''t far away, however having the car to explore is really recommended by myself. I really could write a small essay on the villa and Carmelina but I don''t want to bore you. So long story short is we''re already discussing with family about returning next year!!! I personally asked Carmelina if I could stay and work as a cleaner for her truly loved our stay and was sad to leave. I''ve kept in touch with Carmelina as she feels like a true friend now. She even remembered my youngest daughters birthday and got her a gift now that is going above and beyond!!! Oh I better mention that the villa is fantastic and everything is great washing machine, cookers, ironing board, iron etc everything is fab. Can''t wait to return
