After holidaying in Protaras, Cyprus over the last 14yrs and staying in hotels, we decided to try a Villa and are so glad we did and chose Atlantis Villa. From the initial booking the owner, Sue, was very friendly, helpful and approachable. She provided us with lots of information for getting to the villa (easy to follow - even as we landed in the dark, we found it with no issues) and also for whilst we were on holiday with recommendations on where to hire cars, shop and visit places. The Villa is in a perfect location, a nice quiet street with a 5 min walk to the sea (some beautiful beaches nearby) and a sea view from every room! We’re definitely missing the sea view now we’re home - we even had a sea view whilst showering… Everything you would need is supplied in the kitchen from fridge to washing machine and all the handy bits too - we had a picnic on the beach at Fig Tree Bay one day with ice packs and cool bag. Aswell as the nearby beaches, it’s great having yr own pool and plenty of fun/water fights were held with the grand children We’d recommend shopping at the local Metro Supermarket which has everything you’d need. We loved having a bbq at the villa with fresh meat & prawns from the fresh deli counters there. The buses into Pernera or Protaras are very regular (every 15 mins), cheap (€1.50) and only a 5 min walk to the bus stop from the Villa. Favourite places to eat were mainly at Protaras, Erato (meze), Sonja’s (fish & meze), Marcello’s (Italian) and Happy Days (variety of dishes). Overall, a fabulous holiday made all the better by stopping at Atlantis Villa, which was exactly as described in the details online. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Villa and hope to return in the future….
Wonderful Villa Left on May 7, 2024 for a stay in Apr 2024 The villa was extremely spacious and in a lovely, secluded setting with sea views from every room. The pool area was very private and not overlooked. The patio area at the pool is furnished with sunbeds, tables, various sitting areas, including a dining table and chairs and a barbecue as well as an outside shower. Inside had everything you could want for comfort and the kitchen has to be one of the most well equipped I have come across. Air conditioning is available throughout the villa. Upstairs there are 3/4 bedrooms with the 4th bedroom doubling up as a games room, 1 full bathroom, 1 en-suite shower room and an additional WC downstairs. There are numerous books, games and dvd's provided for you. Whilst I would recommend car hire, the villa is very conveniently situated within 5 mins walk to bus stops at the top of the cul-de-sac should you wish to venture out for a day trip or evening meal without driving. Sue is extremely helpful and very informative. She keeps you up to date from start to end of booking and is only a text/phone call away should you have any questions. We had an extremely relaxing and very enjoyable holiday at Atlantis Villa and look forward to returning. Your response: "Hi Maria. Thank you so much for your brilliant review. I am so pleased you had a nice relaxing time.. you're more than welcome anytime. Kind regards Sue"
The villa was just what I wanted for a well-earned break - a regular home from home. Ready prepared for my visit - clean and fresh - easy to get to, that fantastic view and all the kit I needed to take advantage of the local fruit and veg (and I still love having lemons to pick whenver I need one)! And an electric fruit juicer now too - even less work for me! From our super base - we sampled the local restaurants (Vassos in Ayia Napa harbour, Faliros in Kennedy Avenue and Soukris Souvlakia in Paralimini ("no plates" - really, go see), Blue Spice in Pernera and Tipsy O'Turtle for Sunday Lunch). Would go back to all again. We took a trip over to the North and had a cake and coffee at Tatli Hayat in Famagusta and went to the main market on market day - fantastic fruit and veg and so much more. Took a walk around the Ghost Town of Varosha - what an experience! Not sure how we packed all of that into one week - have to come for longer next time!
Family/Friends stay Left on Dec 20, 2023 for a stay in Oct 2023 We stayed at Atlantis Villa in October 23 and had a fabulous stay. The hosts gave us plenty of information before we arrived and felt at home straight away. The villa is in a cul de sac so a quiet location with sea view. The bus stop was a short walk away. Protaras was easy to get to by bus. We rented a car and got out and about. However the villa was clean spacious and had everything you needed. Lots of pots, pans kitchen equipment. Very good WiFi. Air con. Pool was a good size. Would highly recommend this villa.
Left on Nov 15, 2023 for a stay in Oct 2023 Well what can i say, what an amazing villa, we stayed here for 2 weeks from the 22nd Oct, we arrived at midnight and we had a lovely welcome pack, there is so much space, the kids loved playing in the pool, we had BBQs in the evenings, we had Tvs in each room, great views, lovely neighbours, there isnt 1 thing i could fault about the Villa, Sue and Lance were amazing hosts. We caugh a bus into protaras a couple of evenings to eat out (so many places to choose from and buses are very regular) we rented a car through auto village (they were superb), you dont need a car when you stay at the villa, there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away but we wanted to see more of cyprus, we went to Troodos mountains ( 2 hours drive, well worth a visit) and we also drove to famagusta (45 min drive) we done our food shop at Metro ( 5 min drive) as it was a lot bigger than lidl and so much more to choose from, and we got our alcohol from Nicks bottle shop, so much choice and very reasonably priced. The villa was everything you expected it to be and more, i would definitely recommend staying here and when we visit Cyrus again i will be booking this villa. Thank you for letting us use your villa. Your response: "Hi Kelly So pleased you enjoyed your holiday, and that the car hire and buses worked out for you. Pleased that you managed to get up to the Troodos Mountains, they are spectacular and gives you a different view of the country. You are more than welcome to come back any time. Kind Regards Sue"
Michelle C Great villa Left on Jun 16, 2023 for a stay in May 2023 We have been going to Cyprus for over 20 years and this is probably one of the best villas we have stayed in. It was lovely and clean loads of space both indoors and out, the villa is not overlooked so you get lots of privacy. If you get up early you can enjoy the sunrise while having a coffee, on a night the pool lights up with different colours, our granddaughter loved it. There is a great pub within walking distance and also a 24 hour bakers which is great. If you don’t have a car the local bus runs regularly at the top of the street, taking you to protaras or Napa where there are lots of clubs and restaurants. Booking was easy, Sue kept us informed at each stage and the information booklet in the Villa tells you everything and more that you may need to know. The welcome pack was a great as we arrive late at night. We have sent the Villa information to friend and will definitely be looking to book it again.
