Description
Casa Verão is a four bedroom villa with a swimming pool (with the option of heating) and Air Conditioning at extra cost nestled in a peaceful area of Luz Parque, Praia da Luz 5 miles (8kms) from Lagos in the Algarve. This very spacious villa not only has private parking but a large private garden, BBQ area, sea view and is ideally set up for families or couples. The villa is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, Sky TV, unlimited WIFI and a coffee machine and is within a 10 minute walk to the beach, shops and local restaurants. Casa Verão has been owned by the same family for over ten years and they have visited the area for over 30 years so this is a home away from home for visitors.There is an authentic log burner for all year round use in the lounge with an open plan kitchen and dining area with access to an outside covered eating area. There are 4 bedrooms; a twin master bedroom with an en-suite with access to the swimming pool, three twin bedrooms one of which has access to the pool area and an en-suite. There is no shortage of bathrooms (showers) as in addition to the two en-suites there is a wet room and a bathroom (shower no bath). For families there is a high chair, playpen, travel cot, stair gate, books, and toys (even for the pool) available for a small charge and for the technology minded consoles such as Wii, Xbox, PS1/PS2, DVD, VHS and a CD player.
Casa Verão has been a holiday rental for several years and the owners not only rent the property but also spend considerable time there in the autumn and spring. The villa is thus very homely and caters for your needs and that of a family. There are four bedrooms sleeping eight people. The villa bedding is all hypo allergenic and all bedrooms have plenty of cupboards, drawers, shutters and come supplied with linen, bath and pool towels.
Outside, this villa has so much to offer and the option of a heated pool which makes it a great place year round. The oval pool is 5m x 8m with varying depth and easy entry at the shallow end. The pool heating is typically around 26/28C in temperature, all year round. There are several sitting areas both near the pool and in the garden. There is an outside shower for those hot days or trips to the beach. The family have thought of everything with washing lines and even WIFI extending to the garden and pool. The garden has established shrubs, flowers and herbs and even it's own lemon tree which produces year on year.
The views over Luz and out to sea are glorious and can be seen from the roof terrace, pool area and the covered patio. The hill in the background can be reached by walking through the village of Luz and the ocean is known to have ships in the distance so the view is fantastic.

The villa has all you could ask for and more! Everything works and things are where they say they are. There are no short cuts made and should anything need remedying, there are people out there who arrive and rectify it! The location and aspect are perfect. Just far enough out of town but close enough to walk in to eat and drink out - as we do! the pool and terrace are fantastic, morning noon and after and have full sun all the time it shines! The recent renovations have added to the property and the overall package here is the reason why we have booked again for 2023 (and will be our 4th or 5th time staying here). It's a winner!

Very clean on arrival, it is very secure, external gates have locks and the house has a burglar alarm. The views of the Atlantic from the eating area are lovely. Laura the agent was very helpful throughout our stay. Having rented various villas for more than 30 years, we would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Verao.
An excellent villa in a quiet location
By Ady M on 16-Apr-2019Stayed May 2018 Ady M. The villa is clean, well decorated and very spacious and we went with a group of six and all had a very enjoyable two weeks. The villa is a 5 minute walk out of Luz where all the amenities you will need are all readily available. Larger resorts of Portimao and Lagos are a short drive or bus ride away. Luz is an ideal resort for families and this particular villa has plenty of room for a large group. The pool is excellent with the opportunity to walk from your bedroom straight next to the poolside. There is a nice outdoor BBQ and eating area and a very warm sun deck on the roof. The area is safe and fairly quiet and plenty of opportunities to go on walks and explore the local area. For the sporting members of the family, the water sports were a shirt drive away, there are plenty of golf courses around and even archery at Boavista. The local zoo is worth a visit and go karting and high ropes are a short drive away. Overall an excellent villa, not in the big tourist resorts of the Algarve so much more relaxing for a family but still plenty to do if you are willing to explore. Published 5 Jun 2018

Lovely villa in a peaceful yet convenient location

The owners have thought of everything and it was especially good for our children who range from 9 to 1 in age. They loved splashing in the heated pool (lovely and warm despite the weather not being brilliant) and there were lots of pool toys to play with. The location was great. The villa is in an very peaceful area yet a pleasant walk from the centre of Luz. It benefits from lovely sea views too. We were visited by Natasha who was really helpful and accommodating and we knew we only needed to ask if there was anything we needed. If anything, we would say that the photos of the villa don't do justice to how large and well maintained it is and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Published 8 Apr 2019
