There's a good choice of restaurants and take-out options from 5 mins walk. The Blue Flag Beach and delightful paved promenade lined with palm trees are 10 minutes walk.
It is a split-level semi-detached house in Vilas das Acacias, Praia a Luz has Air Con, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, guest WC and sleeps 4 persons plus cot & high chair. The lounge has a large smart TV and there is a desk and good Wi Fi for remote working. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher auto-washing machine, iron, ironing board and cooking utensils, pots & pans, crockery, glasses etc and it opens on to a pretty patio with table & chairs for easy dining near the BBQ.
One the lower level, Bedroom 1 has a 5ft bed, fitted wardrobe, drawer unit and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, bidet and WC. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobe and is located beside the upgraded family bathroom with walk-in shower, bidet & WC. Both bedrooms have doors to the sunny pool area.
The Livingroom veranda has superb sea views and a table and chairs for al fresco dining. The Kitchen patio has a brick BBQ and a table and chairs for more dining options. and steps from here lead down to the pool area where there are sun loungers and table & chairs next to the pool. The pool and garden are regularly maintained.
There is free parking close to the villa and no through traffic.
Apart from its beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach, the small town of Praia da Luz has a wide choice of restaurants, Spar and Baptista supermarkets, bakery, post office, bank, Luz Doc, dentist, optician, hairdressers, tennis, all water sports etc. Boa Vista Golf and Espiche Golf are 15 mins drive, with many other golf courses within 30 mins drive. The extensive coastal path is easily accessed, some of which has board walks and other areas have rough paths, but all have wonderful sea and nature views.
Nearby the historic walled city of Lagos has a fort, old churches narrow cobbled streets, shopping, restaurants and dolphin boat trips from the marina.
The stunning coastline of the nature reserve of Parque Naturel de Costa Vicentina has scores of fabulous sandy beaches and coves, backed by iconic yellow cliffs, dramatically shaped by Atlantic waves with surfing a major sport, also nature walks, hill walking, cycling, riding and so on.
Other attractions in the area include Lagos Zoo, Ponte de Piedade, Sea Kayaking, Water Parks, Sand City and, for contrast, the wooded mountains of Sierra de Monchique, Caldas de Monchique and the nearby attractive town of the same name, with handicrafts and local delicacies. Silves, northeast of Lagos has an ancient still-intact fort and the surrounding old town well worth a visit.
You will not be short of things to do, that's if you can drag yourself away from the pool and beach!
