"The villa was very nice, clean and perfect size for us. The pool was fantastic and the owners provided us with beach towels as we had not packed any."
Enjoy the sound of the sea from this spacious 210 sq. m beachside villa, idyllically situated within a large 2000 sq. m pretty garden. Its wonderful beachside position is set beside a small cluster of villas, just 2 minutes’ walk to the beautiful undeveloped 2km long beach. As this beach is not signposted it rarely gets busy, and when the visitors leave, you should have a stretch all to yourselves.

**All beach photos here are of the beautiful undeveloped Yiannakis Latchi beach, directly in front of Villa Amorosa. Click through to Sundance Villas webpage to view the new "Walk to Yiannakis Beach" video.

The pool gets all day sunshine, and the sunsets here are panoramic, constantly changing the colours of the Akamas hills. If you are lucky, you may experience a moonrise over the sea, another benefit of this open aspect. The villa enjoys breath-taking far reaching sea views around the curve of Chrysochou Bay towards the dramatic cliffs of Pomos to the right, and to the wild Akamas National Park on the left.

There are no villas directly in front of the poolside, to the right or behind the villa, due to strict building regulations, so the partly fenced poolside offers privacy, without losing the magnificent sea views. The private pool has Roman steps and a handrail, and the excellent baby pool with baby seat is to the side. There is a wooden pergola at the front, overlooking the sea, which provides shade in the morning, and is a lovely spot for breakfast. Wi-Fi, table tennis and billiard tables complete the picture. The garden is fenced, and children must be accompanied at all times.

Excellent waterfront fish tavernas can be sampled at Latchi Marina (2.3km), along with a small selection of shops and supermarkets. There are 2 local taverns nearby next to the beach, 600m and 1km. You can hire a small boat with cool box or take a mini cruise, at our discounted rates.

The Baths of Aphrodite and start of the Akamas National Park with its crystal clear blue lagoon and variety of walking trails is 2.3km.

Despite being a town, Polis (5km) has retained the relaxed feel of a village, with an interesting mix of old and new, and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

The location of this luxurious house is private yet not isolated, and ideal for couples and families. When dates fit perfectly with current bookings, we can offer an under-occupancy discount for 2 - 4 persons including children, for the use of 2 bedrooms. This applies for holidays from September to the end of June. Ignore the higher rate when booking. Air conditioning in bedrooms on request.

Lovely! Sunbathing in November is always a good thing!

By Chris, Judy and Anna Gowthorpe on 03-Nov-2018

Dear Irene, Just a few lines to let you know our holiday in Cyprus was very good and Villa Aurora was lovely. The views were fantastic and the weather excellent. Sunbathing in November is always a good thing! We liked Kanalli at Pomos Port and the fish restaurants in Latchi and Finikas in Polis. Kykkos Monastery was a highlight and much recommended. Thanks for all your help and advice; we hope to go back again.

Perfect for a chilled out break from our hectic schedule

By Ian and Jo on 13-Oct-2018

Hi Irene, We have returned early hours this morning and already I am back at work! Just a quick note from Jo and I. Villa Aurora was perfect for a chilled out break from our hectic schedule. We really did switch off!! Michael and family were lovely. The views from the villa are second to none. Simou village is beautiful and Pollis old town absolutely gorgeous with some fantastic restaurants. (Arsinio Fish Restaurant)!! Awesome!! Weather even though slightly cool and even rain on last day didn't spoil the whole experience in the slightest, in fact made us explore more beautiful places and wineries!! Will definitely return here, thanks again.

Taking in the panoramic views on the roof terrace as the sun rose with the first cuppa of the day - magic!

By Tricia and Mike Ellis. on 12-Sep-2018

Hi Irene, Have been waiting for some sun here to recapture the spirit of our holiday - some chance! It is very hard to expand on previous comments of people who have stayed at Villa Aurora but will try. If you need an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this is the place for you. We arrived in the dark and in pouring rain so were unable to appreciate the location until the next morning - breathtakingly beautiful! Taking in the panoramic views on the roof terrace as the sun rose with the first cuppa of the day - magic. We live in the country but the position of the villa meant you are able to appreciate the views at all times of the day - and at night the sky was wall to wall stars. Having been to Cyprus before we chose to make this holiday a 'chill out' one which we did to the full - we got up intending to go out, looked at each other and thought 'we'll stay here'. The welcome pack was such that we did not need to go out for supplies immediately and the supplies in the villa are better than home and so we stayed put and enjoyed the ever changing view as the sun moved round. Michael made us very welcome and brought us some home made jam and had left preserved fruit in the fridge - lovely but unfortunately too sweet for us - and we met his wife and his lovely dog Filousa? mid way through our stay. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Tricia and Mike Ellis

Recharged after a week at Aurora

By Kerry Brodie on 25-Aug-2018

What a gem of a place ... if you want to stop the world and step off for a while there is no better place to do this than Villa Aurora. A huge stone villa in a rustic location offering absolute tranquility, relaxation and quality family time. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Amazing views by day into the valley accompanied by the heady scent of jasmine and by night incredible starry lit sky from the roof terrace- perfect!.

Wonderful

By Lincoln R. on 11-Aug-2018

Irene, Despite the best efforts of both British Airways and hurricane Bertha, we have all made it back safely to the UK after a wonderful break at the villa Aurora. Thank you and your team for all their arrangements on our behalf. In particular, the owner, Michael, and his family could not have been more accommodating regarding our leaving the villa late. It made all the difference. The villa is in very good order and the garden more beautiful than ever. Very best, Lincoln

It was much bigger than expected, all the ingredients for a relaxing and successful holiday

By David, Marina and Christopher on 11-Jul-2018

Dear Irene We had a very enjoyable holiday at the Villa Aurora. It was much bigger than expected, and I can honestly say, that all the ingredients for a relaxing and successful holiday are present at the Villa. The weather was perfect, with cloudless skies and the pool temperature just right. We met Mikalis and his wife, and Stephanos their son, who were very welcoming and friendly, also Dimitri your Representative, a real Gentleman. The views are spectacular - long may they remain so! Thank you for helping to make our holiday a success, we look forward to returning.
