Casa Helen is a beautiful little gem with the bonus of an extra bathroom! Situated on the lovely Parque Del Rey and just a 20 minute stroll to the seafront. It’s just like being at home with everything you could think of. Nice and clean and easy to keep it so as you holiday in very peaceful surroundings. The pool is so nice and kept very clean too. The British owners are very pleasant and easy to contact. We’ve been twice now and already booked for next year so it’s a keeper for us!
We''ve just returned from a fabulous 10 days at Casa Helen. We''ve stayed in the quiet area of Parque del Rey before but the first time at Casa Helen which is a slightly bigger villa with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a larger living area. The villa is extremely well equipped, has a lovely high spec kitchen, a really comfortable double bed and both wardrobes have plenty of hangers! The pool area is lovely. Although it is at the front of the property, it is completely secluded and not overlooked at all. There are proper steps down into the pool and its a lovely temperature. The sun loungers are very comfortable wooden ones rather than plastic and are great for relaxing. You won''t need to take a book - the villa has 100s to choose from of all genres. There is a small welcome pack for convenience on arrival which includes milk, bread, spread, tea and coffee. The villa is a 15 minute walk down to the seafront 20 mins back as its slightly up hill, and taxis will cost €5 if you don''t fancy the walk (we''re in our 50s/60s and it really wasn''t a problem!). There are lots of English TV channels to watch if you fancy an evening in (including the usual BBC/ITV etc). Casa Helen is a lovely, comfortable and well looked after villa and a great place to stay and unwind in Playa Blanca. Gail is extremely easy to correspond with and answers emails really quickly if you have any queries. We are already planning our next stay.
A home from home villa, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Owner is very engaging and answers emails extremely promptly. A great location too very peaceful neighbourhood
My wife and I had a wonderful time at Casa Helen. The villa itself was spotless, clean and very tidy, a compliment to the manager who called in to say hello and if anything was needed she would be on the end of the phone. The new kitchen blends in well with the old rustic charm you are trying to create at the villa, no one who hires your home would be disappointed as everything that''s is needed for a good holiday is all in the villa. Just again to say many thanks for a enjoyable holiday.
Casa Helen is a lovely well equipped Villa with a lovely swimming pool which is ideal to cool down as the terrace is a sun trap. The Villa is well equipped with everything you need and the second bedroom has en suite, the main bathroom is perfect for shower or bath. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal if you wish. The Villa is on a very quiet estate and 15 minute easy walk in to town. Taxis are available from the town for €5. The Villa ticks all boxes and we wouldn’t hesitate staying again. For us 5 ⭐️ thank you Gail ‘The Pryde’s’ April 2022
My husband and I recently stayed at Casa Helen. The villa is just perfect, immaculate, it really felt like home. There was every kitchen utensil we needed. Clean towels including pool towels (which helped so much with the luggage) ample wardrobe space with enough hangers for both of us along with a safety deposit box. The pool is amazing, I have had difficulty getting in and out of previous pools. I was instantly relieved to see the steps into the pool along with a hand rail. It was extremely hot the week we were there so I can honestly say we spent most of our days in the water. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday, I would also recommend hiring a car to enable you to get out and about. Playa Blanca is truly beautiful with plenty of restaurants and shops. We would like to thank Gail for her hospitality, We can’t wait to return.
