We have visited Playa Blanca many times and this has been the most relaxing two week holiday we’ve ever had. Staying with our grown up children and partners it met all our requirements. Set in a quiet residential area, tucked away at the end of a culdesac, there were no noisy neighbours or barking dogs. A minutes stroll from a hipper dino express and other shops we only had to visit the main hyperdino in town a couple of times, making our hire car use much less. Fabulous small quality restaurants/bistros on your doorstep and at home BBQ’s on the large stone built Canadian barbecue made our stay very relaxing, as we didn’t have to think about transport. We did venture into Playa Blanca/marina a couple of times but also enjoyed restaurants like Sebastyans, the Italian Luna Rossa which were a walkable distance there/taxi ride back. We even used the bus a couple of times, which ran every 30 minutes throughout the day/night and was much shorter queue/cheaper than 2 taxis back from Play Blanca. From the moment we arrived at the villa we were met with a beautifully decorated, clean and spacious villa with artwork depicting the gorgeous scenery/sights of Lanzerote. Quality furniture, glassware and everything you could possible need and more. Things that made a notable difference was milk, bread, cheese, butter and water (and alcohol!) upon arrival, soap in the dispensers, dishwasher tablets, tinfoil/clingfilm in the drawers, a multitude of kitchen utensils, not an ant/cockroach in sight and no sticky tables/handles anywhere. The beds were beautifully made up, an endless supply of hot water and plenty of fresh towels. We spent many an evening sat outside eating and then moving into the dining room to play one of the many, many board games provided. It was such a lovely space to sit together as a family and share the happy evenings together. Lying by the pool was glorious, with super comfy loungers/cushions and beautiful palm trees and bird of paradise flowers to gaze at. The pool was a fabulous size, a refreshing temperature and I liked how it sloped to a standable height at the sides. Shaded and sunny spots to sit, it suited us all perfectly. The upstairs balcony was again, beautifully furnished and was a cool/private place to do a workout. During our stay the housekeeper visited, whilst we went to the supermarket and we returned to a thoroughly cleaned villa with refreshed bed linen and plenty of new towels. We met her briefing upon our return and she was the loveliest person who kindly dashed off and returned with a new washing basket for the utility room. The pool cleaning couple visited a couple of times a week and I was reassured by the attention to cleaning and how unobtrusive their visits were. The gardener visited once and again his visit was unobtrusive and brief. Communication with Kevin and Gill was fabulous and he made sure we had all the information we needed by ringing before our arrival. There was also an information pack with everything you needed in the villa. We have only just returned and have already rebooked for next summer! We have stayed in various villas in Playa Blanca the last 20+ years and this villa is far and away the best appointed villa we have stayed in. It has everything you could possibly need on your holiday, beautifully furnished, immaculate both inside and out. Restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walking distance as is the walkway to Playa Blanca centre along the shore. Excellent communication with owners too. Cannot fault it, looking forward to staying again next year

We arrived to find this fabulous villa. Everything was perfectly clean. There were great added touches (roses on pillows) The welcome pack was amazing, we were able to enjoy a lovely glass of wine celebrating our arrival. Everything we needed was there in the villa and the area is really peaceful and private. Can’t wait to go back
The villa is so well situated. It is such a relaxing place to stay . This year was my 3rd visit and i would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and stress free weekend.
Well what can I say, what a beautiful villa. Everything here that you will ever need and a great location, we were very comfortable for the whole holiday and the pool was amazing. The owners obviously look after this place, ever so clean. We love Lanzarote, especially Playa Blanca. This complex is really quiet and peaceful with a couple of bars and restaurants literally a 2 minute walk away. We hired a car for the duration of our stay which we prefer, but to be honest you could get away with it, a bus stop is right outside and the buses are very reliable. A lovely welcoming hamper was provided which I thought was lovely. Would definitely return, a big heartfelt thankyou to Kevin & Gill for some wonderful memories.
Had another wonderful stay at Casa Montaña Roja, our second visit. The villa is superb, well maintained, fully equipped and beautifully situated. The owners are extremely helpful, both during booking and if needed during stay. We fully intend to book again, we find the resort very relaxing and think we would struggle to beat this villa.
