The owners had organised our transfers and a welcome pack and someone to meet us even though we didn’t arrive until 11pm at night. The villa had bread, milk and water waiting for us which was great as our hire car wasn’t being delivered until the following day. There even was a couple of beers laid on which was great and just what you need after travelling. The villa and its facilities are superb and well equipped. It’s is very large and airy villa set in great grounds with a number of large balconies and spectacular roof terrace with great views. The swimming pool was very well kept and cleaned daily. The villa location in the village close to a number of really nice restaurants and bars. Erol’s is our favourite!!! It was a 15 minute drive to the harbour which also has some lovely restaurants and shops. We would definitely return to the villa and stay again as it ticks all the boxes for our requirements and we had a great two weeks. Regards, Darren Verge and family. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have stayed in this beautiful villa twice during the last two years and have fallen in love with the peace and tranquility it provides. It is set back from the road and accessed by a private drive which opens up into a large area in front of the villa, so parking is certainly not an issue. On both occasions we were met by Shami, the owners friend in Cyprus, who is really friendly, looks after the villa and who is contactable should there should be any issues. The villa itself is amazing, it has one bedroom downstairs and three on the first floor with two roof terraces higher up. All the bedrooms have balconies and there are plenty of doors to open throughout the villa which makes it comfortable in the hot summer months. Alfenrose is set back from the road and in the middle of a large and beautifully landscaped area with an amazing (clean) pool to cool down in. There are restaurants within walking distance and Kyrenia is a short distance away, with its bustling shops, beautiful harbour and myriad of restaurants to choose from. No visit to Northern Cyprus would be complete without a visit to Bellapais and its beautiful Abbey, this is my favourite place on the planet and you can see it from the roof terrace. The owners, Val and Ken have always been incredibly helpful and have given us lots of information on where to visit and where to eat and have even arranged our transfers (Ercan and Larnaca) and car hire at fantastic prices each time.
