A short stay but wonderfully homely and you feel better the moment you arrive. There is everything you could ask for in terms of kit in the house (and it all works and isn’t the cheapest available which is so often the case in holiday lets). Heaps of character, peaceful and plenty to do in the nearby area (car suggested) or equally a lovely garden and pool to relax in. Owners are very helpful. Could have happily stayed longer but sadly someone else beat me to reserving it and I have to go back to work.
If you want to experience a traditional house, but with all the luxuries such as a pool and expansive grounds, then try this house. The garden is a delight, full of fruit trees and when we stayed (early May), roses blooming in abundance. We never got over being able to pluck a lemon, or a Loquat from a tree to make a refreshing tea or addition to our breakfast. The pool is immense and catches the sun all day. Be prepared to guard against the pesky mosquitoes, but if you use the tools provided all will be good. Ozankoy and Catalkoy have everything you need and the walk from the house to Bellapais (very steep) is well worth the effort (the reward being a turkish coffee in one of the cafes). I can't recommend this house enough for those wishing to experience a more traditional way of accommodation. Both the owner and house manager are extremely easy to deal with and everything they promised was delivered. A great holiday and one to fe experienced again.

My wife and I stayed here 14-24 September inc. we have stayed in Northern Cyprus on numerous occasions and this cottage has been the best by far. It’s location was ideal for us (though we did hire a car) As for the cottage itself it met our needs completely it’s design afforded a lot of shade if needed though also plenty of sunshine areas especially around the pool. There are a couple of good restaurants in walking distance and a lot more within a short drive. It is also handy for the harbour town of Kyrenia. All arrangements from the initial rental to hiring a car were easy Pauline the owner was very good to deal with. Everything went according to plan from our arrival at Larnaca airport yo our departure. Pauline’s local agent Kemal was a delight to deal with and everything happened as arranged. We are regular visitors to this part of northern Cyprus and will definitely look to rent Petit Meanage again in the future
