Quinta das Mil Estrelas: a beautiful renovated quinta with complete privacy, located on a hillside, surrounded by nature and enjoying spectacular views over the village of Moncarapacho to the sea.
The house consists of an authentic looking entrance hall, a cozy well equiped kitchen, a dining room, living room and 3 bedrooms (all with an en-suite). You will find a guest bathroom near the entrance hall. For your comfort: all 3 bedrooms, dining room and living room are equiped with airconditioning! For the sometimes a bit colder evenings in spring, you can use the woodburner.
Moncarapacho is a lovely village with lots of amenities. You will find several nice restaurants (d'Ana, Colibri, António's, a Caravela, o Cortiço), a pharmacy, various smaller local supermarkets and a large Intermarché, a bakery, small market hall for fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and meat, and many more local shops and cafe's!
The closest beach - only an 8 minute drive - with it's shallow water in the lagoon is Fuseta, a lovely authentic fishermen village. Lots of restaurants, where they grill your fresh fish on a large coal BBQ, right under your nose!
In Fuseta you can take the ferry to bring you to the island and it's stretched beach, right at the ocean. It's a trip of only a few minutes.
Tavira, with its many churches, is another place not be missed. Walk along the river and enjoy the beauty of the different squares, houses, river and old market hall.
The same goes for Olhão: the most Moorish place in the Algarve. Visit the beautiful 2 market halls - open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 - 13:00 - , or walk down the small alleys (opposite the market halls) in the soft late afternoon light.

Quinta das Mil Estrelas does not have a fixed arrival/departure day, so you can look for cheaper tickets and arrive on the day that's most convenient for you (depending the availability),
The rates include use of the pool, free internet, access to books and games. NOT INCLUDED: € 150,= cleaning costs, to be paid upon arrival. Also a fee of € 50,= tourist tax to be paid upon arrival.
