4 of us have just spent a great two weeks at this villa, everything was good lovely bedrooms good air conditioning spacious kitchen dining. We had wonderful weather and spent a lot of time on the sunbeds golf course is super. Plenty of places to eat nearby and further afield. All in all a wonderful time. Thank you Gerard.
Beautiful house in a very quiet place, with a beautiful view and close to beaches and restaurants (within walking distance). Great location for stays by the sea or taking walks in the middle of the island

Gerard is the perfect host and the villa is even more lovely than we had hoped for. Perfectly equipped for our family (two parents and our two teenage children), it offered privacy, comfort and space. The kitchen is well-equipped and the villa is zoned into all sorts of lovely areas: barbeque and cocktails, cool dips in the pool during the day, lounging in the hot tub watching the sunset, relaxing in the huge jacuzzi bath, or relaxing in front of just about anything you want to watch on TV. Gerard was really welcoming and helpful when we asked for his advice on things. It felt like he was on hand but not around unless we needed him there. We would heartily recommend Villa Carmela to anyone looking to add a touch of comfortable luxury to their holiday in Gran Canaria. It's a really special place.
We have just returned from a wonderful week at Villa Carmela as a family of 5 (myself and husband, my parents and our 3 year old daughter). The villa is exceptional with fabulous outdoor space - having a private heated pool really made the holiday for us. The living/kitchen area was much larger than I expected and was well equipped - there is also a fantastic barbecue which we made use of on a couple of nights. The Anfi Tauro resort is very quiet and high-end and the facilities on site are also excellent - having a large pool with small playground area, plus a Spar and restaurant a short walk from the villa was ideal. It is also very quiet in the evenings and the villa is completely private/not overlooked. As mentioned in the listing, renting a car is advised - there is so much to see a very short/easy drive away (Amardores Beach, Puerto de Mogán, Mogán Mall, Melonares). Finally, the communication with the host Gerard was great - v responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend.
