We have just returned from spending two weeks in Santa Comba villa with our daughter and family including two young grandchildren. We were delighted to find on arrival that the villa was absolutely spotless and extremely well equipped inside and out. Sam met us on arrival with some essential supplies, wine and croissants, and was always available throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa was perfect for our grandchildren, 2 and 7, and extremely safe. They loved the swimming pool, which again was immaculate, and collecting lemons from the trees in the garden. We also made extremely good use of the barbecue. The villa is very well located in a quiet residential area, a very short walk from the beautiful beach and town of Carvoeira. We chose not to hire a car but found taxis readily available to take us to the Intermarche and a visit to Portimao for example. . I would highly recommend this villa and we will definitely be using this company again.
We have stayed in numerous villas in Carvoeiro over the last 12 years and this is our favourite by far. Ideal location with a downhill stroll into town. The property itself is fabulous. Well equipped and quality fittings throughout. The outside space is well planned, private and spacious. Communication with Sam was top notch, very personal and informative. Superb maid and pool service too. Could not wish for better. Will return without a shadow of doubt. Thank you Sam and co.
We spent an enjoyable 10 days here in June. The villa is well placed for the centre of Carvoeiro which is a 10 minute walk down the hill. Took longer walking back which we did twice a day most days. There was plenty of space both inside and outside the villa. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and glassware and all of the appliances that help to make your holiday run smoothly. The bedrooms were spacious and airy. We didn't use the aircon as the temperatures were lower than usual. We used the covered terrace, leading off the kitchen, for breakfast every morning as we were sheltered from the north westerly breeze there. We opted not to have the pool heated and found that the cover kept it relatively warm (we are used to the cold pools in the Algarve though!). The barbeque area was fantastic with plenty of comfy seating. The villa was lovely and clean when we arrived and chocolate croissants were waiting for us!. Ana Maria came to clean and change towels during our stay. Sam was very helpful during the booking process and while we were there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Highly Recommend Casa Santa Comba. Fabulous property, lots of space both inside and outside the property. Gorgeous pool and outside seating area, superb kitchen and absolutely everything you would need to whip up a gourmet meal or maybe a quick BBQ from the outdoor grill!! There were games, puzzles and dvds, along with satellite tv which all came in handy on the evenings we spent relaxing after too much sun! Sam is very helpful with the booking procedure, she was at the house to meet us upon out arrival and went through details about the house and even provided the makings of a lunch!! Ana Maria is the lovely friendly cleaning lady and came twice during our stay! Everything was spotless! And the pool was also cleaned twice during our stay. This was my 3rd visit to Carvoeiro and by far our best accommodation of all. On our next visit we will definitely stay here!
Everything you could possibly need at the property to enjoy your holiday. Only a short walk into the lovely town. Will be back definitely *****
