This is the most wonderful house in a lovely situation, absolutely perfect for our family group of 13 - age 14 and up. Gorgeous pool and amazing views. A very well-equipped kitchen (very rare!) and lovely bedrooms. The last 0.5k drive to the house is rough in places but we managed without 4-wheel drive vehicles. Lovely little quiet beach a (steep) 5-minute walk down the hill. We all adored the region which is impossibly beautiful - quiet and not very touristy at all. Great local town 10-15 minutes' drive, with good food shops and lots of local produce. Fabulous friendly taverna 15 minutes' walk. Just lovely.
A magical spot surrounded by olive trees and so close to a beautiful sandy beach! We felt fully immersed in nature, only separated from the calm turqoise waters of the Pagasitic by olive trees and the occasional wild bird. We really didn't want to move. We felt so at home in the house, which had stunning views and was complete with everything we needed. Having said this, on the few occasions when we did venture into the village, the easy walk down through the olive grove and up an ancient kalderimi path was nothing short of a delight. We also at times simply waded around the rocks with bags on heads, an equally pleasurable experience! When it came to swimming we felt very spoilt, having the option of the infinity pool with a view to die for, the private platform just below the house, and the beach from which we were also able to make use of the boat - a fantastic addition! Amongst the houpou bird that crossed our path, the dolphins we spotted one day down at the beach and the striking sunsets, we really felt blessed. Thank you!
All 14 of us ranging from toddler to pensioner enjoyed a fabulous week at this beautiful very well equipped house. The use of a motor boat to explore the pretty coastline was a reall added bonus. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for splendid comfort in a stunningly beautiful part of Greece
From the moment that I began communicating with Pippa, months before we holidayed at Dolphin's Leap, she was always helpful and prompt in her response to my many questions. The booking and information was as smooth as it could be. The star of our holiday was most definitely the full use of the boat! To be able to walk down the steps and cool down in the sea was also a highlight. Toula the housekeeper treated us to delicious evening meals which meant superb warm summer evenings relaxing at the villa. We also sampled nearby restaurants. We would love to return. Many thanks to Pippa and Nick for the opportunity to sample the delights that Dolphin's Leap blessed us with.
We travelled 14 people from Sweden to celebrate our parents turning 70. Our company consisted of 3 generations, the youngest kid is 5 years old. We wanted a private, beautiful and comfortable place for our vacation and Dolphin's leap really exceeded our expectations. It is such a fantastic place! Absolutely beautifully located with a fantastic view. The house is clean, well equipped, spacious and luxurious. We really enjoyed the pool and the outside dining area, surrounded by the beautiful garden. It was perfect for lunch and sunset dinners. Every day we either went to the nearby beach or went swimming from the cliffs. The beach was practically empty of people so we could play around freely! We took the boat out a couple of times and visited other nearby beaches. The village of Lefokastro is small but felt very authentic greek, which we enjoyed. We tried all the three taverns and the beach bar. The food was simple but excellent! Pippa and her husband were so kind and helpful. We had some trouble with the boat one time, and they immediately came to our help. Pippa was also very helpful with arranging a surprise dinner for our parents at one of the taverns. This was without a doubt a dream vacation and we could not wish for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Dolphin's leap and hope to come back when our parents turn 80! Ingalill and Roland Lindgren with children and grand children.
"Set in the foothills of Mount Pelion, Dolphin’s Leap takes its name from the regular spotting of dolphins in the gulf surrounding the tiny hamlet of Lefokastro below. A highlight of the villa is a gorgeous stone verandah with saltwater infinity pool."
