We had a lovely time at the villa. It was exactly as shown by the photos, and we really enjoyed exploring Lanzarote. Autoreisen were fine for the car hire too by the way. Dean and Tracy were very helpful too. We would certainly appreciate the opportunity to stay at La Veranda again if we come to Lanzarote in future.
IF, like us:- You yearn for a holiday destination which is away from the crowded resorts, (but not too far!)and allows total freedom to make your own plans on impulse; IF you want to relax by your own pool, totally secluded and to be able to find sun at any time of day; IF you like to self-cater, use locally grown ingredients, and attempt the local delicacies IF you enjoy meeting local people, and maybe trying your Spanish IF you want to be close enough to centres of activity, shopping mall or beach, (but not too close!) IF you’re happy to try local bus and taxi service, and manage without a hire car If you need a long stay, for a perfect R and R If above all, you need a good standard of comfort; and a management team who respond to your every request, then La Veranda is an absolute must! Very spacious and quirky lay out - more than enough space for our party consisting of 2 couples. The pool is quite small but fab and great area for sunbathing. It could get very hot in the bedrooms as there isn't any air-con although a fan is provided in each bedroom to help with this. Very good communication from owner and a welcome visit from property manager and husband who attended to the pool 3 times in the 10 nights that we were there. Nice residential area away from the touristy resorts which is why we loved it so much. If visiting Lanzarote will definitely want to stay here again.
