Description
This lovely villa was built in 2003 and is in the small and select urbanisation called Magicum, very well situated on a hillside behind Luz. It is only just 5klms west of the market and fishing town of Lagos, and only 4klms to the well-known sandy beach and town of Luz. Other southern beaches, from Burgau and Vale do Boi to Praia da Salema are a 15-30-minute drive and the wild, west coast beaches are only a little further. There are 3 golf courses within a 30-minute drive; Boavista on the near side and Palmares on the far side of Lagos and Santo Antonio / Parque de Floresta to the west. Tennis courts can be hired in Luz and at Santo Antonio/Parque de Floresta. There is squash, a gym and a pampering beauty salon at Boa Vista. Riding stables are near by at Almadena and at Bemsafrim just a little further but with professional instruction. Both arrange rides in the countryside.
The nearest village is Espiche which is perhaps a mile away down a side road where there is a local shop and 2 or 3 restaurants and bars. En route to Espiche there is a campsite which has a popular restaurant.
Casa Perucas is set in a walled-in garden, with climbers and succulents in a rocky bed around the terraces surrounding the lovely blue swimming pool.
