Fantastic, Spacious and Contemporay Villa in a great area for a family holiday. We had an amazing Oct mid term break at this villa, we were 2 families of 4 so 8 in total (4 adults, 4 children) the villa was fantastic, very very spacious for 8 people, emaculate and well equiped. Master bedroom has 2 adjoining balconies and a partitioned fitted wardrobe / area you can change without waking your partner and the 3 bedrooms upstairs all have spacious fitted wadrobes, ensuites and outside balconies, as does downstairs bedroom minus the balcony obviously. The garden is very spacious and well equiped, the swimming pool was extremely clean, (notably more than the adjoining villas as it has an automated cover for when not in use) and the pool was always warm as its heated so even on an Oct evening if slightly breezy weather or the one day we had rain we still couldnt keep the kids out of pool. Villa is really well located nice an quiet in evening but very close to the Lagos marina and beach by Uber both with some fantastic restaurants. Bahia Beach bar was a particular favourite, book ahead for Sundays from 6pm to experience the live bad and a fantastic aptmospehere with Beach vibes and views. Lagos is mins away by Uber and we explored the nearby Marina, Old Town, Beach and i even managed an early morning round of Golf at nearby Espiche golf course (recommended) while our wives were at Boavista Golf course using the spa while the kids enjoyed Boavista swimming pool. Final day we drove to the nearest water park and had a fantatsic final day of fun with the kids and ended the holiday with a great meal at Portofinos italian restaurant at the Marina in Lagos (Can recommend the Chianti and Lemoncello with your meal here) We do a lot of Villa holidays and this was definately one of the best I would recommend and will definately return if we visit Lagoa again.
We are just back after spending 10 days at this lovely villa with our daughter. We found it to be clean, light and airy, everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Although we don’t tend to cook on holiday there was a well equipped kitchen had we wanted to. The beds were comfortable with much appreciated white cotton bedding. Lovely balcony from the master bedroom to have a morning coffee and watch the sunrise. The outside space is wonderful we had lunch outside most days, plenty of space to move around for sun or shade and the heated pool a bonus. Although we had a car mainly used to go to the nearest beautiful beach Mea Praia in the morning and call at one of the many local supermarkets on the way back for fresh bread salad and of course wine. We used Uber in the evenings to go into nearby Lagos where we were spoilt for choice as so many good restaurants. The owners Stewart and Alison provided helpful information in the Villa including restaurant recommendations and felt like they cared that we enjoyed our stay which we did so much so that we plan to return next year. We have no hesitation in recommending Villa Portelas

We have had a great week at this villa, very clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed. Short drive into Lagos or an Uber ride, very good and cheap. Vineyard 7 minutes away for wine tasting with Tapas. Recommend Quinta Dos Santos vineyard in Estômbar for food, excellent. The area of Lagos is so nice, little streets, restaurants and bars, loads to do. Bahai Beach Bar, lovely food overlooking the sea. Boat tours and Tuktuk tours. We will definitely return to your lovely villa
The villa was exactly as described. Very well equipped with everything you need. Kids had an amazing time in the pool, couldn't get them out of it. We all loved the peaceful location but the short drive to the bustling atmosphere of Lagos itself. We also used a couple of the local restaurants which were perfect if you did not want to drive. All in all a perfect holiday . The villa itself did not disappoint and we would certainly book again. Sam the villa manager was most helpful and the owner Stewart was first class during the booking process. You will not be disappointed.

What a wonderful time our family had on our summer vacation at Villa Portelas. The Villa is beautiful so fresh and modern and every thing to hand. Icing on the cake heated pool at nighttime. Located only short distance from Lagos Marina endless restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. a fanastic base for venturing to near by locations . Uber taxi service absolutely fantastic an influx of choice to choose from and so reliable . Our host Samantha and Steward so very helpful . I can say we would like to very make a return visit.
