Description
Beautiful detached villa with central location very close to beach and local park. Attractive gardens front, side and rear, large private pool with many sun beds and private parking. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and WiFi throughout. Ground floor has lounge with log-burning fire for cooler months, Modern TV with huge selection of films, CD player with selection of books, games, CDs and DVDs. The exceptionally large and fully fitted kitchen has been beautifully redesigned and contains fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave and most appliances you can think of. Outside the kitchen and overlooking the pool is a lovely covered terrace with dining table and seating for ten people. We also have a very efficient BBQ, new pergola, privacy screens and a toy box containing a selection of children’s toys. At the front of the villa is a lovely covered seating area with sofas for relaxing. The large entrance hall leads to the ground floor twin bedroom suitable for guests who prefer to not use the stairs and is fully furnished with lovely new arched window. Adjacent to this bedroom is a ground floor toilet and shower room which has been tastefully upgraded this year.On the first floor there is a large landing with sofas and patio doors leading to a large open terrace to the front with a sea view. There are a further three large bedrooms each with en-suite facilities. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, fitted wardrobes, new window with sea view, TV and large en suite bathroom with WC, sink and shower. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, patio doors leading onto a rear terrace that overlooks the pool and large en suite bathroom with WC, bidet, shower and sink. Bedroom 3 is suitable for children or adults and has a set of bunk beds plus 2 single beds, fitted wardrobe and en suite with WC, sink, and shower over bath. All bedrooms have air conditioning, mosquito nets on windows and there are ceiling fans and marble floors throughout. All rooms are very spacious so there is space to put a cot or futon for maximum flexibility. For families we have various equipment including two travel cots, high chairs, bouncy chair, walker and stair gate.
There are stairs down to the lower ground room which has been converted to a games room with a pool table. There is also a bed settee, wardrobe, a small kitchen area and en suite with WC, sink and shower.
Due to its central location, it is not necessary to have a car and there are many restaurants, shops and beach bars within walking distance. The lovely La Cala beach is within 2 minutes walk and the children’s park is equally close. There is a lovely coastal boardwalk which connects the centre of La Cala ( 5 minute’s walk ) in one direction and the villages of Riviera, Calahonda and Cabopino in the other direction. If you do want to hire a car, there are many local activities and places to visit.
We are in our 12th year of owning this lovely villa and each year we spend several months there and make further improvements. As the villa is so spacious there are many areas to sit and relax, either in the sun or shade as you prefer. We believe it has everything to make a perfect holiday experience - whether you enjoy visiting the beach, restaurants and beach bars or relaxing by the pool - what more could you ask for?

Leave ReviewFantastic holiday at beautiful villa in perfect location
By Helen Thomas on 03-Apr-2025We have just arrived home from a wonderful relaxing holiday at this beautiful villa. We are a family of six with children who are teenagers and young adults. The villa is spacious and very well equipped including a pool table and table tennis which the kids really enjoyed. There are several large bathrooms and the bedrooms are huge and really well laid out so that even when they decided to share the kids felt they had their own space. The kitchen and outdoor cooking area are extremely well equipped and make it really easy to BBQ or cook at the villa. We enjoyed several lovely meals sat outside listening to the sea and playing games. The villa is yards from the sea and from the small town which has lots of cafes and shops and a charming square. It’s also very easy to hop in a taxi or bus to Marbella, Fuengirola, or Mijas if you want to explore further afield - we did and had a lovely day exploring Mijas and enjoying the views over tapas and wine. The location is perfect and the owners were excellent in communicating with us. We will definitely stay again!
Had an amazing holiday

House perfect size for 3 families to stay together and still have space to enjoy quiet time. No better located house to all shops, walks, parks and beach. Definitely will be considering a return.
Everything was perfect

The Villa was big enough for our party of 9 with space for us all to eat, play games and chat or there were little areas for a bit of quiet time. Outside areas were perfect for games, sunbathing and chilling and the pool was a great size and in the sun all day. The beautiful beach with bars, sports and restaurants was only a 5 minute easy walk away. Our party had 2 people 70+ and the walk was easy for them. I really have nothing negative to say about our experience in this Villa and the area. A truly wonderful holiday
Perfect family break
By Kim Sweet on 23-Jul-2023On arrival to villa we was greeted and shown around. The villa was clean and well equipped for the ten of us that stayed. Swimming pool was perfect and each room big and comfortable. We couldn’t believe how close we were to beach shops and restaurants. A lovely place and plenty to do . I’ve never completed a review before, but this villa and Wendy deserve my time as my favourite holiday for years.

Perfect place to stay
By Alison on 08-Jul-2023As a family we have been coming to La Cala on holiday for many years. Now with grandchildren we had been looking for larger accommodation yet still close to the centre. This villa was all we had hoped for and more. The pool and gardens were fantastic. The indoor space was excellent for our family of 8 (all ages.) I definitely hope to return.

By The Edwards Family on 13-Jul-2022What can you say, everything is spot on and especially Wendy who is absolutely superb in re arranging this holiday from last year due to COVID travelling restrictions, nothing is too much trouble for her. The meet and greet lady Laura is superb and gives you a thorough tour of the villa explaining where everything is. The Villa is in the most desirable spot you could wish for, just on the outskirts of La Cala but within a 2 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk and a 5 minute walk to La Cala centre with all the shops, bars and restaurants. This villa is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need you do not have to want for anything. There is a large lounge which has a tv and all channels you need from Childrens, sport and all the other channels and Apps that could want. The kitchen is huge and has every labour saving devise you need, well stocked with utensils and is spotlessly clean. This leads out to the rear of the villa where there is covered area with a large table and chairs enough for 10 people, from there you go down some steps to the pool area which is absolutely fantastic with steps leading into the pool into the shallow end. There are more than enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone to relax and sunbathe and for those who like cooking ‘al fresco’ there is a lovely BBQ area as well. All towels both bath and beach are provided which is also a plus for families. There is a large outside lounge area at the front of the villa again with enough seats and table to accommodate everyone when you need to shade for the sun. The villa is surrounded by a lovely grass area which is very safe for those who have young children. The upstairs has three very large large bedrooms all with air conditioning and large en-suite bathrooms and the middle bedroom has patio doors leading onto a veranda ideal for peace and quiet sunbathing on your own if necessary. There is also a large twin bedroom on the ground floor with air conditioning and a separate shower and toilet. All in all in my opinion it is the best place and location I have stayed in in La Cala in all the years that I have been going there and I take my hat off to Wendy for keeping to such a high standard. If I could afford the time I would be back there more than once a year. I have found that the locals of La Cala are very friendly and helpful.
