Description
The beautiful, charming, Farmhouse Kefalonia is a unique property located in the north of Kefalonia nestled amongst the Cypress forest and ancient olive groves. The house is well over 250 years old and has been lovingly restored by Tony and Uta, who were some of the first foreigners to settle on the Island at the end of the 1970’s.
Over a number of years they poured their hearts into restoring the house. They managed to turn the crumbling ruin into a lovely, peaceful home and then opened their doors so that others could embrace the magic of Kefalonia.
Stephan, their son now lives in the main part of the farmhouse and acts as host to those staying in the various accommodations. Restoration has started again to modernize the rooms, but there is no doubt that the original charm that Toni and Uta created is still abundant.
Available for guests are 2 separate and private options, one adjoining the main house (The Studio, sleeps 2) and the other within the gardens (The Cottage, sleeps 4).
Surrounding the house are shady terraces that abound with mature trees, multi-coloured flowers and aromatic herbs. All with the constant backdrop of uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea and unforgettable sunsets.
This is a place to relax and get away from it all, yet it is only a short drive (15 mins) to the stylish resort of Fiskardo.
