We stayed at Villa Mae in August 2024 and had a fantastic holiday. The Villa was perfect for our family of four and was very clean and comfortable. The pool and garden area is beautiful and not overlooked. Lovely views of the mountain and sea. The Villa is situated in a nice quiet area and a perfect location for exploring the whole island. We hired a car for the duration of our holiday and would highly recommend this to help get about with ease. The owners are very helpful and made the whole process from initial enquiry to final booking very easy. They were available throughout the holiday to answer any questions and a friend of the owners lives nearby and she was very helpful too. The Villa is a credit to the owners and they have made it feel very homely and can tell that they take pride in this property. I would highly recommend this Villa and wouldn’t hesitate booking it again if we go back to Kefalonia.
We stayed for three weeks and loved our stay there. We rented a car for the whole time as there is not a-lot in walking distance however there are bars, restaurants and beaches aplenty within a 10 minute drive.. The villa and the terraces were excellent. The pool was also great. Michelle who lives next door and looks after the property was a great help and gave us very useful tips on where to go. We have booked for next year which speaks for itself.

We have just come home from 10 glorious days stay in Villa Mae and don’t have a negative word to share about it! Beautiful villa with absolutely everything you should need and spotlessly clean throughout. Fabulous sea and mountain views as described and a lovely large pool which is not too deep (like some). Peaceful surroundings for a completely relaxing switch off. Situated not too far from the airport and Argostoli, but far enough. Definitely need a car. Plenty of nice restaurants within a few minutes drive. Thoroughly recommend and can’t wait to return!
Very much enjoyed our 2 week stay at the start of August. Villa was perfect for our needs, very clean and well equipped - pool was lovely and definitely needed! The villa was in the most perfect setting with far reaching views of both the mountains and the sea. Perfect setting for a quiet family holiday within easy reach of many beautiful beaches, the most local no more than 5 minutes drive, and close to various mini markets and shops. Lots of lovely restaurants to chose from locally too. The pool is a good size and ideal for the warm weather. The villa was so clean and well equipped with good instructions of how to use things. We can’t recommend staying here more highly with lovely owners who were so helpful when booking giving good recommendations and advice on car hire etc. The lovely house manager was so kind and helpful and gave us lots of advice of where things were and things to do. We would definitely return here and highly recommend this villa to others.
We had a wonderful week at Villa Mae! We were a family of four adults and everyone had plenty of space to relax. The outside area is well thought out with the pool and loungers, as well as the lounge furniture and the outdoor dining table. There was always a place to sit in the shade when you needed it. The fly screens on the doors and windows made life so much more bearable and you don't need the air conditioning as much when you can keep the windows open. The villa is very private so you do need a car to get around, We enjoyed buying Greek pies and pastries at the large bakery on the main road towards Argostoli and eating out in Argostoli town.
