A welcome pack of tea, coffee etc was provided which was very thoughtful and much appreciated after a long day of travelling, and a store cupboard of basics for all guests to use is a really good idea. The villa was very well managed with great directions, a folder containing all the information you could need, a cleaner during the week to clean and change linen, and pool specialists who came regularly to check the water quality and clean the pool. The bedrooms were comfortable with excellent air conditioning in each room. The grounds were beautiful and there is a view of the sea. It is a short drive or a 25 minute walk to Katelios with its small sea front and a range of tavernas to suit all tastes. Would highly recommend.
29 Sep 2016 Villa Noel, Ano Katelios, Katelios, Kefalonia, 280 86 , Greece Date of Stay 27 Aug 2016 This was our second stay in Villa Noel. We loved it the first time, but had forgotten how wonderful the views were. The villa is located in old Katelios in the valley a mile or so from the beach resort. Its a perfect location because it is in a quiet rural area with views of the sea, the mountains and the lovely gardens. Every morning from the balcony we watched an elderly greek gentlemen tending his allotment and picking all variety of fruit and vegetables. As you walk down the road to the beach in the evening (takes about 25 mins) the old ladies are sitting outside their houses in the cool and they seem really pleased if you speak to them. In fact everyone on the Island is so friendly which makes everything very relaxing. You can also walk to the bakers and the mini market in about 20 mins. The villa is excellent and has all the facilities and equipment you could need. We used the pool everyday. It is immaculately clean and the pool man came at least three times during our two week stay. Vicky and the cleaning team are also excellent and it is luxury to have sheets and towels changed twice in the two weeks. The addition this year of large pool towels was a nice touch. There are plenty of restaurants down on the beach to choose from and its a short drive into Skala for more choice. We have been around most of the island during our four trips, but we keep returning to Katelios and Trapezaki as our favourite places. Mounda beach is a must do at least a couple of times. You can walk from Katelios beach to Mounda if you don't mind scrambling over a few rocks at the start, but unfortunately its not possible to walk on to Skala via the beach. Paul and Lynn are perfect hosts to deal with. It is easy to keep in contact with them via email and the first time we booked Paul even rang me to introduce himself. This makes the whole booking process very relaxed and there are no worries about whether the villa really exists or what state it is in. Highly recommended.

Booking the villa could not have been any easier, Paul was great he answered all our questions and responded promptly thank you. Payment was also straight forward and you also get a lot of info sent to you once final payment has been made. The villa pool and grounds are very very well maintained, the villa itself and the grounds are all lovely. A great pool which we used every day, lots of space around the pool and a lovely pergola to sit under and relax during the day or evening. The views are great there is always something to see either the hills around you or the sea in front looking over the pool. Due to the position of the villa the sun was on the pool from early morning right up about 18:30 in the evening when it then went behind the hill so a lot of sun. We used to sit on the balcony in the morning with a coffee look at the view to start the day and somethings have our breakfast there, there is plenty of furniture thoughout the property which was great. Lots of games are there for to use and books we left a couple to add to the collection. Wifi is great if you need it music system to eveything you need to make your stay perfect. But forget all that get a drink and sit outside chat and relax your on holiday. Walking to Katelios took us about 25 minutes we stopped to take photos and walked down the track that takes you to the beach. Coming back we took the long route up the main road and along the back so we could go and see the church, it is really lovely. We did have a car due to a lot of driving around the island which you have to do there are some amazing places the island is beautiful. Katelios is such a nice little village and we were so glad we stayed here, last year we were in Old SKALLA. Katelios we thought had everything you needed a couple of nice beaches, lots of nice tavernas in the village and also outside and a couple of nice bars to have a drink in our favourites was Waves we loved it there. To finish we had a fantastic holiday really sad to leave, Katelios, Kefalonia and villa Noel. J & M

Paul and Lynn are only too happy to help and assisted in making our holiday run smoothly. Villa Noel is obviously their pride and joy and it is kept like a home not a 'holiday let'. For some of our party this was the fourth visit to Kefalonia and others their first 'Greek' experience. We all agreed however that we would return to Katelios and Villa Noel without hesitation. My partner and I have been going on holiday to greece for over 15 years and have never found a resort and accommodation we wanted to return to so much! Katelios is small and personal with local charm. It is a real Greek village with tourists and locals living side by side. Yes, Fiskardo is beautiful but it felt a little too picture postcard perfect with not even a leaf out of place - a little staged for our liking. Katelios is relaxed and not pretentious and for us the perfect location. Villa Noel is situated in a quiet spot just outside the main area of Katelios but still within walking distance of Tavernas/shops. You get the best of both worlds with stunning views and tranquility and everything you need on your doorstep. If you like greece, you'll love Villa Noel. If this is your first trip to Greece, you'll love Villa Noel. Enough said!!
A family of six of us ranging from Gran'ma (70) down to youngest grand-daughter (10) stayed here in the summer of 2010. This is a brilliant, amazingly equipped villa with everything anyone could possibly want available. Sadly, we can't return this year as some of our party are unable to holiday due to other commitments, but I will forever remember the wonderful, laughter-filled times we had and how comfortable we were. Would book again without hesitation. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Age 55+, Families with Teenagers.
