Description

Our extremely spacious and attractive Villa is situated on the hillside overlooking Kalamar Bay and enjoys stunning sea views. Three of the bedrooms (two king-sized doubles and a twin) are on the ground floor with direct access to the pool terraces. The main living area and kitchen are on the first floor with a shaded dining terrace with sea views and external steps down to the pool area. The fourth king-sized double bedroom occupies the whole of the top floor and has a large terrace with sea views and external steps to the dining terrace and pool area. All the bedrooms are en-suite and large enough to accommodate a cot if required. We also have sofa beds providing flexibility.

There are extensive terraces and gardens around the property offering a choice of sun or shade at all times of the day as well as a 1st-floor dining terrace and a roof-top terrace to make the most of the lovely views. The large swimming pool is attractively shaped and there is a separate children’s pool. The gardens contain many fruit trees so you can pick your own lemon for that G&T.

The villa is our 2nd home and is fully equipped with high-speed wifi internet access, UK TV (including SKY and TNT sports), games room (air hockey and table football) gym equipment, outdoor table tennis, BBQ

Villa Zeytin Koru is very close to the Kalamar road so it is a fairly flat 15-20 minute stroll to and from the top of the old town. This makes it possible to walk into the center of Kalkan even in the height of summer and it is a pleasant stroll back after dinner without the need to take a taxi. There are small bars and cafes along the road so you can stop for shade and refreshment or a night cap if required! The sea-front and beach club at Kalamar Bay are closer but the walk is obviously steeper, approx 5-10 minutes down and slightly longer on the way back. If you visit the beach club they will provide complimentary transport back to the Villa to avoid the climb back up. There are also two mini-markets and several restaurants and cafés close to the Villa (within a 5-minute walk) so a car, although useful, is not essential. Airport transfers can be arranged on request at additional cost.

Our local English manager provides a meet-and-greet service on arrival at the Villa and a local contact in case of any problems or queries during your stay.

Blissful

By Jilly on 24-Jul-2024

Sadly, we have just returned from a blissful 2 week stay at Villa Zeytin Koru. We really didn't want to come home! There's not much more I can add that's not been said before. If you're thinking about a visit......just book!! You definitely won't regret it!

Beautiful Villa

By Kath Senior on 01-Jul-2024

Beautiful Villa in wonderful setting a short walk down hill to Kalkan centre where there are several good quality restaurants to choose from. Excellent facilities within the villa which is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Good sized bedrooms, all en-suite with effective air conditioning. Well stocked local supermarket is just a short stroll away.. Lovely, deep freshwater swimming pool, with well padded sun beds and sun umbrellas. Shaded area also available. If you venture out try the Blue Marlin fish restaurant in Kalkan and take a local yellow taxi back up the hill - it takes only a few minutes and is cheap. Absolutely love this villa and location - can’t wait to go back!

3rd visit

We have had another lovely holiday in Villa Zeytin Koru. 3rd time back, and always great. Lovely pool. Very comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. Excellent host.

perfect place to stay

By Peter Cook on 01-Jul-2024

The Zeytin Koru villa in Kalkan was yet again the perfect place to stay and was our third time visiting. With its large private pool and spacious rooms inside with everything you need makes it feel like home. The bars and restaurants are only a few hundred yards up the road which is very convenient. We are sure it won’t be our last visit. pete & Karen Cook

Fantastic villa, great location

By deanv1989 on 01-Jul-2024

I've just returned from my second stay at villa Zeytin Koru and it was every bit as impressive as the last. I first stayed in 2020 and more recently June this year. The villa is spacious, well equipped and in a fantastic location. The villa is situated approximately a 10 minute walk from central Kalkan but between the villa and the main town are many bars, restaurants and shops. The closest supermarket is the Carrefour located no more than a 30 second walk from the villa. We ate each morning at Café Vita which is approximately 2 mins away - They have a great menu and staff are very friendly. We chose to get a taxi into main Kalkan mainly due to the heat (Around 35c every day in June) but I'm sure this wouldn't be an issue for some, particularly out of peak season. Taxi drivers will only charge 150tl which is approximately £3.60. Stuart, the owner is great - Very helpful and contacted regularly to ensure we had everything we needed and weren't having any issues during our stay. Sharon and Rambo who live locally and look after the villa are equally as helpful. I spoke mainly with Sharon who was able to recommend local restaurants and excursions. We went ahead and booked the 'Therapy' boat based on Sharon's recommendation and it was a fantastic day. Sharon also recommended a dining-in service from a local restaurant called 'Wildflour' and this too was well worth booking. This is my second villa holiday this year - I booked with Villa Plus and stayed in Corfu in May and the 2 experiences are non comparable. Stuart is far more flexible and the villa is so well equipped compared to any you'll book through companies such as Villa plus. We'll certainly be returning to villa Zeytin Koru as it ticks every box for us.
