Description
Villa Lucero is a modern 7-bedroom villa in an exclusive area of Javea, and just 5-minutes from the beachfront. It is perfect for a large family or with 2, 3, 4 or even 5 families - with plenty of personal space for all. Many of our bookings are from different generations of the same family. With air-conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas, superfast 500 MB fibre WiFi throughout, Sky/Freesat HD TV's in all 4 master bedrooms and both lounges (with full Sky movies, sports, children's channels), Netflix, Amazon Video and the latest Amazon Echo units to assist with your stay or play our unique music playlists - Villa Lucero has all your home luxuries, and more. The terrace area is south-facing and includes 12 sunbeds and a very large pool (which can be heated). You'll love the outside 'summer kitchen' and bar area for entertaining (with large 5-burner BBQ, fridge/freezer, sink etc). Uniquely the bar has a beer pump - so you can pour yourself chilled Spanish beer. There's all the equipment ready for you - from creating cocktails to cooking chicken. A roof creates shade for the daytime - and the beautiful LED lighting makes the ideal setting for you all to enjoy evening drinks and food alfresco, with an outside Amazon Echo playing one of our themed playlists, or whatever music you like. Then have a game of pool on our outdoor pool table, boules on the petanque/boules court, or the giant garden Connect 4.
Another exclusive feature is a wood-burning pizza oven and large paella burner. This is part of the extended outdoor entertainment area - making the home even more perfect for large groups. It's likely all your cooking will take place outside - either on the large gas BBQ, pizzas, roasts or tandoori in the wood-burning oven - or fabulous paellas using the large paella gas ring/pans. Your own 5-star restaurant, bar and summer kitchen. There's even a second dishwasher outside.
The pool area is south-facing so benefits from sunshine all day - but with plenty of seating and shaded areas for you to cool down and sit or eat together - or have your own "me time" away from the group. There are anti-slip tiles around the pool terracing. The pool itself has a state-of-the-art heating system that means you can swim all year round in lovely warm water.
Inside, the large villa kitchen, complete with beautiful black granite worktops, has everything you would ever need on holiday, and more. On the Amazon Echo you can listen to Radio 2 or 4 over breakfast, right after you've made your favourite coffee with the Dolce-Gusto coffee machine.

Within 10 minutes walk, there are 4 excellent restaurants, a tennis club/bar (which serves lovely tapas food), a cafe, a further restaurant/lounge bar, and a fantastic bakery for take-out fresh bread and croissants, or dine-in for breakfast or brunch. A small shop/bakery is a further walk away, along with a couple more restaurants. Numerous other restaurants are just 5 minutes away in the car at the Arenal beachfront. In the main summer months, a shuttle bus operates all day to and from Granadella Beach (voted best beach in Spain several times and used as a movie location for many blockbusters). This bus stop is just 10-15 minutes walk from the villa.
Big birthday or anniversary celebration? Well, we can organise a large bespoke cake to be made and delivered, with candles, on the day by a local lady.
Most of the time the property is let as a full 7-bedroom unit (including the 3-bedroom apartment) - but out of the main summer months can be let as just 4-bedrooms. The apartment has 2 x king-size master bedrooms (one with en-suite bathroom and own adjoining cot room/dresser), a further twin bedroom with 2 single beds, and a separate shower room. The lounge of the apartment is equipped with a large HD TV - with Xbox. There's also Xbox games, and DVDs. There is a small kitchen area in the apartment - for making light breakfast, tea/coffee. The apartment will NOT be let separately to the main villa.
Private chefs with a selection of international menus are available for an additional fee - so you can have the full Hollywood superstar experience, though only at restaurant prices!

By Susan Finnegan on 21-Apr-2025The family spent weeks deciding on which villa to rent for our Easter 2025 getaway, and we finally narrowed it down to 3 in Spain (2 of which were Brett and Carolyn's). We were thrilled when we arrived as the amount of space offered and level of equipment provided was second to none. In all there were 12 of us, and the layout of the house allowed us to have private space, and also family time together. Perfect. A lovely bakery is a short walk away, and we enjoyed breakfast there 3 times in the week. We also enjoyed Casa de la Pizza restaurant. Most of the time we relaxed by the pool, barbecued and made happy memories. Will definitely book Villa Lucero again for our next big family holiday away. x
Fantastic family holiday, at a wonderful villa
By Sarah on 23-Oct-202412 of us stayed here, 8 adults and 4 children and the villa met all expectations. Plenty of room and bathrooms for all, excellent area for kids inside (with toys provided) and a fantastic outdoor area. The pool and seating were fantastic, the kids loved the pool and the seating meant they could be watched at all times. The bar and outdoor dining table was perfect, we enjoyed meals outside together every day. We made use of the pizza oven and paella station, which were lovely additions. Location, as Brett mentions there are shops and restaurants a short 10-15 min walk away, these were easy to find (note there aren't pavements everywhere, but little traffic). We made these walks with kids with ease. Overall, the villa was lovely and pool outstanding. The communication and assistance from Brett was outstanding and would highly recommend. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their holiday, and fantastic memories made.

By Chris Newberry on 27-Aug-2024This is the 4th of Brett and Carolyn’s villas that we have stayed at. Oh my, we were not disappointed! These villas certainly are the cream of the crop! Our stay at Villa Lucero was truly exceptional! From the moment we booked, the communication with the owner was incredible. They were always available to answer questions and provided helpful information before, during, and even after our stay, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The villa itself is a dream come true. It had everything we could ever need, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable and stylish living spaces. The highlight for us was definitely the beer pump and outdoor kitchen – such a fantastic touch that made our evenings even more special! We also enjoyed some lovely walks around the villa, with beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. The local amenities were great, too. We found some nice restaurants nearby and a charming bakery/café that quickly became our go-to spot for breakfast. One tip that we would highly recommend is having a grocery shop delivered on the day of arrival. The supermarket, while well-stocked, was quite a walk from the villa, especially with heavy bags. The owners suggested this, and it worked wonders, saving us a lot of stress and allowing us to start our holiday immediately. Overall, we can't recommend Villa Lucero enough! It was a perfect escape, and we can't wait to return. What are you waiting for… get a stay booked in (but not too quickly, as there will be less weeks available for us!)
