Description
Villa Velero is a luxury villa located in one of Javea's most exclusive neighbourhoods, with a flat walk to the beach (10 minutes, Cala Blanca) and the larger Arenal beach area (15-20 minutes), this is arguably the town's largest and closest (to the action) luxury villa, whilst still being just far enough away from the hustle-bustle.Villa Velero has a fusion of traditional Spanish and modern styling. With all your home luxuries and much more. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas, TV's in all bedrooms and full Sky TV, Netflix and Amazon Video in both living rooms, and Amazon Echo units around the house. There’s superfast 500mb fibre WiFi throughout the villa, even by the pool. With no fewer than three kitchens - two inside, and one outside Summer Kitchen with large Aussie BBQ, large paella gas ring/pan and Pizza Oven. There's also a separate pool-side Bar with chilled Spanish lager on tap, fizz in the fridge and drinks for the kids. Rock speakers by the side of the pool mean you can play out your selection of songs whilst sunbathing.
The large outside dining table, which seats up to 18 people, has a roof for total shade/weather protection. There is also a further shaded seating area next to the poolside bar.
The inside kitchens are fully equipped - both have large American fridge/freezers with ice and water dispensers. Bosch ovens, dishwashers, and induction hobs for safety. Beautiful granite countertops throughout. There's plenty of cutlery, glassware and crockery for everyone.

If you don't want to walk, a bus stop is just a few steps away from the villa. This regular service takes you down to the Arenal beachfront, Port/Marina area and the Old Town. Only €1.50 per journey. A further bus route goes to the beautiful Portixol beach, for €3.
There's a large (optional heated) pool, complete with a shallow splash pool/bubbling spa (which can also be heated). Plus 20 luxury sunbeds - and plenty of other outside seating around the garden - so you can chill and relax for a bit of 'me time'.
Rock speakers by the side of the pool mean you can play out your selection of songs from one of the villa's Amazon Echo's (Alexa) whilst sunbathing.
Large electric gates open up to the long driveway, which in turn leads to the outdoor living and pool area. There's an outdoor children's play area with swings, slide etc, a giant chess set, an outdoor pool table, pétanque/boules and a large trampoline. Plus, inside, two consoles - an Xbox One and a PS4 - to keep them happy, along with toys, Lego etc
Everything is close by - the nearest mini-supermarket is 150m, restaurants 100-200m, a large Aldi is 300m, and the family-friendly Arenal beachfront with dozens of bars/restaurants just 1500m.

Leave ReviewPerfect large space for our annual outing
By Bryn Asher on 05-May-2025Villa Velero was the best holiday home we have rented. We spent hours together eating, drinking, chatting and having fun. Lots of thought from Brett and Carolyn has gone into this villa. We especially liked the outside bar area and seating, which we spent many an evening in. Big BBQ and outside cooking area, and plenty of space indoors too. Cha Cha restaurant was a short walk and great food, and very reasonably priced. Two supermarkets (including an Aldi) around the corner. Javea itself is full of things to do, but not overcrowded or too touristy.

By Henning Weyergang on 14-Oct-2024We had a very nice stay at Villa Velero. Everyone loved the pool, the kids were more below the water surface than above. We tried the big bbq, the paella and the pizza oven, and tasted the lovely pomegranates. We had a great holiday!
An amazing and memorable family holiday
By Richard Lewis on 10-Sep-2024This is an amazing property. Spacious and able to accomodate a large family with lots of beautiful areas. The quality of all the facilities are a minimum of 5 stars. The information given to us before the holiday enabled us to hire cars, book the personal chefs (who were amazing), have a birthday cake made and even do an online shop for delivery on the first night. Don't forget to order the beer barrels for the beer tap on the bar (a great luxury). The location of the villa is ideal for the local amenities yet far enough away to be peaceful. We would definitely recommend this villa and holiday to anyone who is looking for something special.
The most amazing villa, it had everything we could have wished for and more!
By Sally Luckhurst on 18-Aug-2024We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Villa Velero. We were a party of 14, with 5 children under 10. The facilities were excellent. The pool, pool bar with beer on tap, fantastic outdoor cooking and eating area and amazing living accomodation were all 5 star. Every little thing had been thought of. There were so many things availble to us that we didn't use such as xbox's, tv's, kitchen equipment. But with the glorious weather and amazing outdoor space, we just wanted to be outside. Brett's communication was superb and when we did have an issue with one of our parties suitcases being locked ( they'd left the key at home!) there was a handyman round within 10 minutes of emailing him! We booked a chef for two nights and the food was absolutely superb. The Indian BBQ was exceptional and we'd highly recommend it! The villa is a bit of a walk from the beach (20 mins) and at times a little sweaty in the August sunshine, but buses and taxis are available. I just wanted to get my steps in! We would highly recommend this villa to anyone! What worked so well for us, was the split level accomodation and having a kitchen and living area on both floors. This meant that if you are a number of families you can split and have your own space at times. We all had an amazing time and did not want to leave. I just wish we had booked it for two weeks!
Super Villa !
By Ger on 05-Aug-2024We had a wonderful stay at Villa Valero - 16 of us in all. The outside spaces were especially lovely - we had very memorable evenings at the big table & great fun in the pool! Jim and Laura put on a great tapas spread for us one of the evenings and we also had really good food and service at Oasis, less than 5 mins walk from the villa. Beaches were an easy walk away. Brett was very attentive to all the details right from when we booked. Would definitely recommend Villa Valero.
Great villa in a central location

The location was great - a stone throw away from Oasis restaurant and the supermarket and 20/25 min walk from Arenal beachfront which has lots of great restaurants. Bus wasn’t very regular (once a hour) but it was a very easy walk. Brett’s communication was brilliant. He helped book us transfers, leisure facilities for before we could check into the villa and a chef for one of the nights. This made everything so easy and took a lot of the stress out of the holiday. Another great feature was the outdoor bar and the beer tap! Would definitely stay in this villa again
