Although smaller than Menorca and Mallorca, Ibiza is one of Spain’s Balearic islands. It is famous with the youngsters for its night life and part scenes in places like San Antonio, Ibiza Town and resorts like Playa d’en Bossa. This must not detract however from the beauty, tranquility and fabulous peaceful locations which can be found in such as Platja d'en Bossa. A good day out would be to explore the hilltop Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town followed by refreshments in one of the pavement cafes soaking up the atmosphere. Ibiza Town is reputedly very pretty and overlooks the Mediterranean sea from its walled city fortress with cobbled streets housing the cathedral which is a must. Also, take time to look at the Hippy Markets which add to the culture of the island.
