We had an amazing stay in the Penthouse. It is a 5 stars because 10 doesn’t exist ;)… All along, Marcus has been a really amazing and nice host and so is the house. He pays a real attention to have his visitors feeling like at home and was nicely flexible for our departure. Everything has been thought and is made for our comfort, with a warm welcome, detailed instructions and a very very clean house. The place is incredible, the view is so beautiful, the area is very quiet, and there is everything we can need in the flat. We also enjoyed the terrace for our breakfasts and the eggs of the day from the chickens . The garden as well, and the pool area are so beautiful. We have been in quite a lot of Airbnbs but this experience at Marcus’ place will stay in our memories. And we hope to come back one day ! Thank you so much. The Penthouse is an amazing place to stay and the best airbnb experience we have ever had. Marcus and Heidi were incredible hosts. The facilities are perfect, particularly the heated pool, outdoor kitchen area and fresh free range eggs! The beautiful town (Haría) is a 10 min walk away and is perfect for eating out or a drink in the center. Marcus and Heidi’s recommendations for food were completely spot on (we didn’t have a bad meal out!) The kitchen is also spotless and well equipped, we enjoyed lunches in and ate on the private patio which gets a great amount of sun. The living room is fully equipped for movies and music, perfect for evenings in and listening to music whilst you cook The bed in the bedroom is outrageously comfortable with automatic electric blinds that have panoramic views of the valley and its stunning palm trees. Opening the blinds from bed was a highlight every day! We wouldn’t change anything and if you’re thinking about booking a stay don’t hesitate!
Thanks for a lovely stay. We’ve enjoyed everything, the freshest eggs, the lovely warm swimming pool, the lovely views, and helpful tips from friendly hosts. Although we don’t normally watch much TV, the new TV was amazing, and we were hooked. The accommodation was generally very well equipped, and we really appreciated all the essential food items waiting for us when we arrived on Sunday. The best holiday, and we would love to return. Great apartment couldn’t recommend it enough, the pictures don’t do the views justice. The pool was lovely and the eggs from the chickens were a great touch. The Penthouse was perfectly clean and felt very private and homely.
My husband and I stayed in the Penthouse over Christmas and had a fantastic, relaxing holiday. The apartment was everything we could have hoped for - well-equipped, very comfortable and totally private. Marcus, the owner, was on hand to help us with anything we needed. He gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant for Christmas Day and we throughly enjoyed the meal we had there. We loved chilling on the private roof terrace in the sun and walking to the local village which was authentic and quiet, full of locals rather than tourists! We will definitely return to the Penthouse as soon as we can!
This is an amazing apartment! Everything about The Penthouse showcases the care and attention to detail that Marcus and Heidi have for the property. You would be very hard pressed to find a better rental or location. Everything is spotless and of 5 star quality. From the bedroom, you have views over the hillside and palm trees and down to the sea. The lovely private garden and terrace with a sliding door from the bedroom is ideal for eating out and also for sunbathing. We love this area as it is so calm and peaceful. The garden and pool are beautifully kept and maintained. The terrace and BBQ area perfect for meals outside. The dogs and cats come to greet you and keep you well entertained! Marcus and Heidi also keep chickens and the eggs are delicious. We could go on and on in this review about how much we enjoyed our stay....... not enough space to mention everything!
