Description
INTRODUCING REBEKAH - by Jules
“Rebekah is one of a suite of four Gozo holiday villas, all set in a peaceful, secluded spot in the village of Ghasri.
Light and space are the first impressions when stepping through the entrance door – and it’s a feeling that stays with you whichever room you’re in. Close behind on first impression stakes is the stone staircase with its wrought-iron balustrade. Its majestic sweep makes walking upstairs feel like an event.
Limestone archways cleverly define the open space between the lounge and kitchen. A lovely open-plan space with light streaming in from 2 sets of double terrace doors further enhances the living space. Sitting in the comfortable lounge is akin to sitting next to miles of stretching panoramic countryside views of Gozo. The painted cream wood finish of the kitchen and dining table gives both an unmistakable Mediterranean feel.
A good size private pool and terrace provide plenty of scope for lazy days and al fresco dining using the inbuilt stone BBQ. Rebeka's roof terrace is an indulgence of idyllic views of the island.
Continuing Rebeka's central theme, all four bedrooms are generous with space, and a modern finish.
This villa on Gozo is a terrific home base for exploring the riches of Gozo – discover it for yourself.” Jules

The village of Ghasri sits amongst the fields and valleys of rural Gozo near to Victoria’s commanding Citadel and close to one of the best swimming spots on the island. Worthy of a stop is Tal Gordan a flat-topped hill with an iconic lighthouse. At 180 metres above sea level the Lighthouse towers over the village and stands proudly on top of Gurdan Hill. From Ghasri village square a road leads to the fabulous valley of Wied l-Ghasri 2.3km away from your Gozo holiday farmhouse. The two shallow bays of Xwejni and Qbajjar are both 4.1 Km away. Next to each other, they have small pebbly beaches and rocky stretches that lead to clear blue water. Excellent for swimming they are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike and are popular with divers, especially beginners. You’ll also find a few fishing boats here and a couple of bars and restaurants on the sea front.
The feast of Ghasri is celebrated on the first or second Sunday in June and is dedicated to Corpus Christi. Victoria has two big feasts one in the third week of July and the other on 15 August.
