Introducing Rebbiegha by Jules
"Opening the front door we meet a warm welcome of traditional limestone and sunlight sparkling from the terrace doors beyond the lounge. There is an instant homely feel with a touch of class and plenty to appeal. Rebbiegha actually means springtime. The farmhouse touches nature in the countryside and the lively picture has overtones of spring.
Wandering through the hall into the open plan living area, the mahogany dining table and kitchen add a regal finesse. It is easy to be drawn to the outside space. Your own private Mediterranean hideaway in the heart of Gozo countryside. Consider this your own “den”. You can opt for a lazy day on the terrace with BBQ, swing happily on the rocking seat, swim in the generous pool, enjoy a BBQ or find peace in the garden.
Crave a tranquil Gozo farmhouse retreat that feels like home from home? A Gozo Villa in a countryside setting, located on the doorstep to good bars and eateries? If the answer is “yes”, this eclectic blend of magic is a goldmine for you!” JULES

LOCATION: Qala
Qala can be found in the easternmost edge of the Island. The name meaning 'port' most likely refers to the bay nearby and popular swimming area of Hondoq ir-Rummien. Stunning views across the sea to Malta and the tiny Island of Comino are a treat – best seen from the small courtyard of the church Il-Maddonna tal-Blat (Saint Mary of the Rocks). The ancient history of this settlement which dates back to the earliest time is also worthy of note (though the present settlement dates back to around the 1650s). Legend has it that the little church here was deliberately built facing neighbouring Island Comino enabling Comino's inhabitants to follow Holy Mass from across the sea if the seas were too rough for a priest to cross to them. As for Qala's shoreline aside for a few sheltered inlets (like Hondoq Ir-Rummien) the coast is largely rocky with several interesting caves. The prettiest of these is Ghar Minka which can only be accessed by boat.
Qala village square has developed into a little haven of restaurants and bars that seems to extend every year. it has quite a lively local atmosphere - laid back of course.
You will find the square a 5 minute walk from your Gozo villa.
There is a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and a lively atmosphere in Qala Village Square, 1.2 km away from the property.
The nearest supermarket is 700m and nearest beach 1.6km. There is a bus stop literally 500 meters away from property. Catch bus No. 303.
