Villa Colina Rio is a newly renovated and designer furnished home with spectacular views of the ocean, Arade River and Monchique Mountains that can be seen from everywhere in the house,including six of the seven bedrooms, large wrap-around balconies,roof-top terrace and even the pool area.
It is located five minute walk from Ferragudo, one of the last traditional fishing villages in the Algarve and referred to as the prettiest village in the region. This gorgeous property is extraordinary and will leave a lasting impression long after your vacation is over. There are seven large bedrooms each with its own en suite bathroom and carefully thought out unique design; six have terrace access.
The main floor has a huge lounge with four sets of sliding doors opening onto the balcony,a fireplace and dining area with an oversized custom made solid walnut table. The two large sofas are also custom made from a Spanish boutique upholstery shop. Across the hall you will find a dedicated cinema room with a comfy L-shaped sofa to relax on.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with two built-in ovens,microwave and fully automatic NEFF espresso machine. There is a large center island with a five burner Smeg induction cooktop and wine fridge.You will find everything you need to cook a delicious meal while enjoying the sunset.
On the ground floor you will find an enormous entertainment room with a 75 inch flat screen TV,two large comfortable sofas and chaise,a bar and a half bath.The two sliding doors open onto the pool area where there are lounge chairs, sunbeds and sofas.
On one end of the yard there is a complete outside kitchen with a professional grade barbeque and a large round table under the Pergola.You can also enjoy a drink at the outside bar while admiring the view of Portimão harbor.
There is internet throughout the villa,air conditioning in every room,electric blackout shutters all round and a washer and dryer.Pool/beach towels are provided for each guest.
Slide & Splash Water Park is 3.3 miles from Vila Colina Rio, while Algarve International Circuit is 11.8 miles away. The nearest airport is Faro, 41 miles from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.
