Description

El Portil is in the province of Huelva on the Costa de la Luz, Spain; an area often called the “Spanish Algarve” and situated between El Rompido and Punta Umbria. It is 1 hour drive from Faro airport or 1 hour 15 minutes from Seville airport. Beautiful, long, golden sandy beach backed with dunes and pine trees. It makes this area a favourite with the Spanish people - their secret!

The property is an established, semi-detached Villa, with its own swimming pool (8x4metres) in its own private garden; Situated a 10minute walk from the beach, Supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
Bedrooms: There are 3 spacious double bedrooms on the first floor. There are two single beds in each room. In the main bedroom, the two single beds are together making it a queen size bed. There is also a pull out sofa bed in the sitting room.
The main bedroom has a balcony and an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, the two other bedrooms share another bathroom with a walk in shower. On the ground floor there is a toilet and shower.
At the back of the house there is large undercover terrace area which provides a comfortable, cool and relaxing area, to sit, read or eat while looking out onto the pool and garden.
The large garden area is private and not overlooked. The sunbathing area around the pool has the sun all day. There is a courtyard area, at the side of house with BBQ and seating under a wooden gazebo; a great place to enjoy your lunch or for evening entertaining. The front veranda is a quiet place to sit and watch the sun go down.
Kitchen: Is fully equiped including a dishwasher, air fryer and microwave etc.

In El Portil: La Tablita (meson La Tablita), Surf Bar, Maravilla Bar Restaurante, Las Dunas del Portil - on the lake but there are many more in peak season, all within easy walk on house.
Chiringuito de Matias on the beach (40 min walk along beach or 5 min drive)
In El Rompido: various in village on the beach. El Faro a great place for a drink and watch sun set.

Airports
Faro in Portugal is 60 min drive away along motorway. There is no problem hiring a car in Portugal and driving into Spain. Some car hire companies charge a small fee.
Seville is about 1 hour 15 minute drive on a motorway

In July and August it is normally a minimum of 2 week rental and a saturday to Saturday but do enquire. Other times of the year we are flexible with dates and change over days.
