Description
Privately owned luxurious villa in a unique development boasting both floodlit tennis court and swimming pool. The villa is in an elevated position on the outskirts of the pretty Istrian village of Tar with fantastic views of coastline and olive groves, yet a short walk to shops, bank, restaurants and bars. The beautiful fishing village of Novigrad with its new Marina, and bustling Roman town of Porec are both within a few minutes drive. The villa is well positioned as a base from which to visit the medieval hill top villages of Motovun and Groznjan, the Venetian built promontory of Rovinj and the spectacular caves at Baredine. The Mirna valley from which you can observe wildlife including otters and birds of prey in abundance, is only a few minutes drive. Two new water parks, Istralandia and Aquacolours are only a short drive away and are considered some of the best in Europe.The house is finished to an extremely high standard, with solid wood flooring and solar glazing throughout, together with air-conditioning upstairs and down Sony Bravia 37" TV, security safe for guests valuables and free Wi-Fi available throughout the villa. Due to its location on this small complex of 12 properties the villa benefits from uninterrupted views through the private garden towards the sea. The house is used mainly by the private owners as a holiday home, we care about your comfort and satisfaction. The villa also benefits from Croatian Tourist Board official categorisation.
Outside: Small private south-west facing garden with built-in BBQ and garden furniture. Tiled and lawned area with decking and kiwi draped pergola, outside table with lighting and seating for 6/8. Fabulous uninterrupted views over adjoining vineyard and olive groves to the sea. The house benefits from a shared 10x5m swimming pool with sunbeds and a floodlit all-weather tennis court, both situated a few steps away. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, security safe, sun loungers, sun umbrella, cold box, and tennis rackets. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / included. Extra laundry and cleaning can be arranged on request at the time of booking if required. Beach towels can also be provided by arrangement. By Andries R on 23-Jul-2023t''s just a very nice apartment. Air conditioning where necessary, nice terrace and a great (shared) swimming pool. The photos on the site do not do the apartment justice, in reality the living room in particular is much more spacious. In short, a great place to spend your vacation.

Great vacation property

A wonderful and relaxing vacation
By Opitz on 28-Aug-2022A wonderful and relaxing vacation We, a family with two children from Germany, spent a wonderful holiday in Tar in August 2022. The cottage is generously equipped and very well maintained. It has a nice little garden with a seating area and there is a very well maintained pool in the complex. The cottage is in a very quiet location, right on the outskirts of Tar. Jo and Keith are extremely friendly hosts and were always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Tar is a nice little place where you can walk to everything you need. There are several beaches in the area which can be reached by a short drive. Lanterna Beach in particular was ideal for us with the children.
Lovely house in a great location!
By Lynne G on 27-Aug-2019We spent a lovely 2 weeks here. The house was airy, clean and well furnished. The view from the terrace was excellent. The pool and grounds were well kept. Jo and Keith were staying next door and were helpful with local knowledge. It was lovely having Tar in walking distance with all its restaurants and local grocers/bakers etc. When we did venture out, there was loads to do - towns & villages to visit on the coast and inland, great coast to swim from, waterparks for the kids. And lots more I'm sure if the weather hadn't been so stunning and made us lazy. We came home feeling so relaxed!
